I honestly think the game is great. I mainly discovered it from watching H2O Delirious a long time ago and genuinely thought the idea of dying just to end up playing as a new character and having to recover all your things off your dead corpse was pretty kool.

I do not know why this has mixed reviews. I had no problem while playing it and it was fun and atmospheric. I always wanted to play this game since it was released on WII U

This is a pretty decent zombie survival FPS and I feel like it's extremely underrated after completing it. It's a little buggy, short at about 10-12 hours, and not as deep mechanically as Dead Island (which came out a year before the original Wii U version of this game) but overall it's pretty damn fun. My only complaints are the third act relies a bit too much on backtracking and navigating the darkest possible mazes, and it wasn't clear how to use a weapon's scope until I Googled it like 7 hours into the game. It's too bad it's not verified/playable for Steam Deck too—this game would be perfect for it.

The game is better than expected and is overall pretty allright but i had a couple issues such as loot seems to be non existent if the game feels you have enough. And the change in pace at the nursery where it changed from the cool dark and unsure scary buildup it resorted to cheap jumpscares multiple times, this fucking sucked to the point where i considered quitting right then and there. Overall its definitely not the best game around but on sale for 2 bucks ya cant really go wrong and can do a lot worse.

This game despite the reviews is a great play through and definitely still worth the money. However it is missing one major key feature that every fps zombie game should have in my opinion and that's a co-op mode. For those who don't know we almost got a sequel for this game that was confirmed to have co-op but it was sadly cancelled and i don't see ubisoft ever coming back to this title which is just tragic for us who actually enjoy this game. i truly think if the sequel would have gotten to release it could have possibly stood its ground against dead island. Idk tho i also think the walking dead survival instinct was a good game so i may just have shite opinions.
