great comedy game with (for me, at least) some high highs and very low lows you already played 999 and Virtue's Last Reward, might as well finish the trilogy to really see how bad can this go, just enjoy the ride and don't take the game as serious as it takes itself lol

This game is a mess. Some of the puzzles just don't make sense. The time travel was always weird and full of plot holes. Everything feels like it doesn't make sense until the end, and then you're still left wondering what the hell happened. Still, it was the perfect ending to this trainwreck of a trilogy, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love to hate this game. Junpei is my doomer emo femboy boyfriend.

This game is somehow both the worst and the best of the trilogy The low budget 3d animations and the bad english voice direction contrast with the absolutely insane story that reaches so far in plot contrivances it is completely impossible to explain to anyone what the game is about. The puzzle rooms are not that interesting compared to the previous games and they start appearing fairly late but they're still enjoyable enough. Despite how chaotic this game is overall i would 100% recommend it to people who played the first two entries. ZTD is my son, he has every disease, and i love him

It's alright. If you've played the two preceding games, you'll probably want to play this to see how the story wraps up. This game leaves behind the visual novel style of the 999 and VLR, and is instead comprised mostly of cutscenes. In terms of storytelling mechanics, Zero Time Dilemma sets itself apart by having the characters undergo regular amnesia: they are given drugs that make them forget the past 90 minutes. You play the story in a random, non-chronological order in order to simulate this effect of amnesia. Each time you start a fragment, you don't know what time it is, what timeline you're in, who is dead and who is alive... It's a pretty novel way of telling an amnesia-type story! That said, the whole multiverse thing that the game's got going on... it doesn't feel as refreshing anymore, since we saw that already with VLR. The controls are horrible. It doesn't matter whether you use a controller or keyboard+mouse; there's no logic to it. Quick tip from me: - Z opens up the 'save' screen. - Shift resets a puzzle you were working on (it is horribly inconvenient when you try to use shift+tab to see a screenshot you took to help you solve the puzzle). - F opens up your files. - Enter is the button that makes you skip the credits. There's probably other keys too, but these are the ones I figured out (by pressing random buttons). In any case, this Steam port is a disgrace when it comes to controls. All in all... Just play the game if you want to see the story through to the end (or the middle, strictly speaking). If you don't care that much, it's fine too: I don't feel like you're missing out on a masterpiece.

Still playing this wonderful game, there is more than one ending - and I want to explore all corners and find out all! It may be a bit older but it is still an exciting journey and I can highly recommend it. It is not just decisions, you learn a lot about the chars and in their conversations they treat interesting topics. Though you will see death many times, there are the small or bigger victories ... Highly recommended
