Welcome to Sintracorp, the corporation where dreams go to die and unpaid overtime thrives. Enter Yuppie Psycho, a game that throws you into the shoes of Brian Pasternack, a humble nobody whose greatest life accomplishment up to this point was probably remembering to feed his house plant. Brian’s first day on the job isn’t just about learning to use the printer or figuring out where the coffee machine is — it’s about hunting a witch. Yes, you read that right: a witch. Story: Imagine getting hired for a “mystery position” without knowing any job details, salary, or even what your company does. Now imagine they tell you your only task is to eliminate an evil entity in the workplace. This is Brian’s life now. In Yuppie Psycho, Sintracorp makes even the worst job you’ve ever had look like paradise. Gameplay: Your “training” consists of finding obscure, ancient documents, hiding from nightmarish monsters (a.k.a. your “colleagues”), and figuring out that office supplies can actually save your life. Brian learns the most effective use of a pencil: stabbing living photocopiers that will try to eat him. The only drawback to using pencils this way? You’ll probably get a promotion for “efficiency.” Throughout the game, you meet some memorable “coworkers”—from Hugo, the weird guy who somehow has way too much power, to Kate, who seems like she’s the only one who didn’t sell her soul. Every encounter is a comedic masterpiece, balancing horror with deadpan corporate absurdity. You’ll spend as much time laughing as you will nervously hiding in supply closets. Graphics & Sound: The pixel art style brings charm to what should be a terrifying experience. Sure, the dimly lit offices and mysterious goo seeping from the ceiling add to the horror, but the retro style somehow makes it… endearing? The soundtrack is like if your corporate orientation video got mixed with an 80s horror movie. Conclusion: Yuppie Psycho is a job simulator from hell and a horror-comedy done right. It’s a brilliant take on the horror genre, office life, and, let’s face it, entry-level positions. Not only will you fear for your life, but you’ll also reconsider your next job interview. Verdict: Don’t play this game at work unless you want HR to schedule a very awkward meeting.

Bought this game expecting a decent game but I have found to adore this game extensively. Definitely one of the best indie games I've put my time into. Worth the buy at full price for sure. Multiple endings, lots of lore, lots of fun, highly interesting story.

My first play through of the game was amazing. I went through it without a guide and got a normal ending. My experience was fun and I loved all of the characters. I honestly fell madly in love with Brian. As soon as I finished the first go, I played again, doing things differently, but with the help of a guide ONLY when absolutely necessary. And after that play, I went again. And again. And again. Each play through I would knock out a few achievements. Some were harder than others, and some I got by surprise. If you love solving things, and you love charming characters, I say get this game. I've see reviews say that it can get complicated, and while I agree that there are some tasks that aren't explained well, either in game or even in walk throughs, if I can finish the game, I guarantee anyone can figure it out. Now, onto more technical things. As you can see before even playing, the artwork and animation is great. In some cutscenes, characters look a little wonky from some angles, like the perspective is a little off, but to me, I dont mind. Pixel art is hard. The music is amazing, between the loading screen music, the background music in your office, and chase music, it sets the tone for wherever you are. The creativity in both characters and world setting is nice. I love all of the witch's creations. And I love our coworkers. Their designs are great, and I wish we got to know them more, but we only really got screen time of Kate and Tony. The horror is good, when I first played, and I didn't know what to expect, I was truly afraid for my character, and was panicked depending on when I had last saved. I wouldn't say that this is a completely 100% horror game though, because it's more comedic in places. The story was amazing. Not only was it compelling, sad, indepth, and interesting, but had a satisfying end depending on what ending you got. At least for me it did. They didn't do the thing where it left you hanging, just so they could drive you crazy and make you beg for a sequel. The game is done by the end of it. And you feel okay with that. And because there's so many achievements, it does reward you if you do wanna play again and again. There's even secrets that aren't on the achievement list, just a secret reward for those who find it. All in all, I do in fact recommend this game. Love it.

Wow! I saw this game go on sale and thought it looked cool, but man this game is an absolute hidden gem. The pixel graphics are superb and the atmosphere the game presents is unlike any other game with it's suspense and uneasiness. The story's game is captivating and had me at the edge of my seat waiting for what comes next. The gameplay was incredible with the different activities in such a fun and engaging way. Got 3 endings in my 13hrs of gameplay and excited to play the game again and achieve the other ones! 5/5 GET THIS GAME
