The artstyles are as cute as they can also be horrifying. I'd play this game more, but I have skill issues, and can't beat Chapter 2. This is alright. 7/10

Alright, so it's an upvote despite feeling quite annoyed with the game. You have a decent formula for a charming horror, but oh boy do I absolutely loathe the running sections in chapter 6 and 7. Why oh why would you make the chase sequences with randomized odds of success - cause honestly, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to your winning strategy. You are required pixel-perfect precision while randomly dying to enemies' rapid turns, random stamina recovery and random amount of steps you are allowed to take, randomly outspeeding enemies by a pixel (or not) (or outspeeding them and dying anyway, cause their hitboxes are like a mile away from their body and the air will hit you and kill you at random either way. You are welcome). I spent about 2 hours dying over and over and over again during the ending, which would take probably 10 min at max otherwise. Why do we need to suffer so, dear devs. Though, if you forget random bull like that (and a few other bullshit sections, though those were minor) it's a fun game with decent atmosphere. I liked it, even when I hated it at times.

Fun and challenging at the same time. The jump scares are the best.

A cute horror game with a nice story. First off, I haven't had any issue with the game crashing. I was a little scared after seeing all the reports after my purchase but there were no issues. The only thing that happened a few times was that when I played on Steam Deck and it went on Standby Mode the game would froze and I had to restart it. Besides that I had a lot of fun exploring the game and collecting all the items. The riddles (with the Mary Doll or the Hide & Seek) were my favorites. There is a slight jumpscare, the death screen. Not really a jumpscare but it can catch you offguard sometimes and definitely jumpscare you. I liked the ending & I think It's really cool that you can continue playing and exploring after finishing the story. The achievements were fun but the 'Long Night' Achievement (Play for 50 hours) is a bad idea for the game and badly designed as well. You usually finish the game in about 10-12 hours, so even 2 playthroughs would just cover half of the achievement... worst part is that you have to achieve 50 SAVED ingame hours. Means if you have 50 hours on steam client but lost 8 hours of progress because you did not save ingame, it doesn't count and you don't get the achievement. Very important note as well: You can ONLY save at home. The little shrines are just checkpoints for your respawn after you die somewhere. If you DO NOT save at home you will lose your progress and the hours shown on steam are inofficial. I'd recommend it. If you enjoy horror games that have their main focus on the story. you will like this one! ( •ω•ฅ)

A warm yet dark, lovely yet scary game. The charming combination of a cute protagonist, a peaceful countryside landscape, and the eerie, ghost-filled elements of a horror genre blend together beautifully. It's a perfect mix of 'Cute and Doom.' 夜の怖さを覚えていますか?
