First things first: this project feels unfinished. The campaign is short overall, some quests and achievements are bugged, occasionally it crashes. But its bones as a game are very strong. It has very fun, challenging combat, paired with some unusual, entertaining mechanics. Its plot is simplistic, but its worldbuilding is anything but. Despite level transitions being pretty jarring, it has a powerful atmosphere. For me, the whole experience was very inspiring. Some comments are saying it's overpriced for what it is, and I suppose that's true. But it's also unique, and I want this creator to keep developing his strange new ideas, so I didn't mind sacrificing a few dollars above the market price.

i only played this game for 20 minutes but i loved it. i was able to build my own body which i didnt know you could do, i shot some floating thing and was somehow able to stack my organs, fixed a green guys wifi, and then killed heavily drugged up people while also heavily drugged up. really like how you cant overdose, though im not entirely sure. by the reviews, i was concerned about crashing, but that didnt happen. this is my first ever fast fps game and i fear i will soon be swallowed by the depths of my soul that demand more games like this. this is amazing. 17 and 5 quarters out of 10 i could not reccomend this more.

Very good game. One of my favorite games but due to bugged achievements and some scaling issues, It seems unfinished. I hope the creator fixes the achievements so people can get 100% and fix other stuff so the game is a lot more better. I wish for my content or even a sequel to this amazing game!

Short review: an utterly incredible idea with... medium execution. As a really interesting ''retro'' Bio-punk PFS, Wrought Flesh is one of those game that, if you are truly an aficionado of the FPS genre, you have to play at least once in your life: the whole idea of 'changing body parts'' in order to upgrade yourself is fresh and ingenious, and the fast-pace combat (almost like the enemies of the first Unreal) is, again, great! ...BUT! The level design is similar to the maps of a MMO: there are camps, all similar to one another, where you need to clear, like, two type of enemies (again, very similar to each other), which makes the fights repetitive in the long run. Then, the main mechanics, the organ switching, provides few ''option'', and most of them are just upgrades of stats and nothing more. Same for the guns. These are the major offenders, if we do not take into consideration the soundtrack (cool but it's a loop, basically). Now, it seems that, from my rant, the game should not be worth playing, and you'd be wrong: it's really fun, but it could have been so much, much more. So Yes! still totally worth it of your time (mmmm although for the length of the game itself, the price is a little steep)
