Just a very good rally sim all around, and what I've been looking for for a while. The driving feels properly realistic and if you play without assists you have to know what you're doing, but it doesn't feel like everything is a trap and the entire game hates you (*cough* Dirt Rally 2.0 *cough*). Feeling like I'm actually being challenged but without those "WTF ARE YOU KIDDING ME" moments that artifically difficult games tend to create is a massive plus. Also, lots of rally locations and cars, nice choice of modes, graphics aren't amazing but are fine, works very well on an Xbox controller. Oh, and doesn't require you to install any spyware, I mean "anticheat" to play single player. (*cough* EA WRC Rally *cough*). ***** Some more thoughts after 10 more hours: ***** + The cars feel like they have actual weight and react more or less how you would expect in real life (yes, I'm comparing to DR2.0 again and its bouncy toy cars) + Handling feels equally good and realistic on gravel, asphalt and snow + AI doesn't seem to rubberband - ...but it seems to get the same results regardless of conditions - it seems near-impossible to win on snow/ice while easily winning by 10 seconds on dry asphalt on the same difficulty - Tuning options should have explanations, I've played hundreds of hours in rally sims and other racers, but I still got confused, and especially the gear ratio settings are completely counterintuitive - Monte Carlo is as enjoyable as a root canal treatment, and the season mode seems set to torture you with it (at least the side barriers are not a death trap here) - The anniversary mode should have a difficulty setting besides assists - it should be a great learning mode, instead with these required times already the third race is a sweaty grind

Great game with good handling once you find a car that works for you, the top reviews complaining about handling are coping because they cant drive. Co driver mode is worth playing this over Dirt Rally 2.0 if you have friends.

One of my favorite rally games ever, what a banger. I know rallying is supposed to be intense and difficult - and this game sometimes offers that - but I play on the lowest difficulty possible so my only opponent is myself (the hardest to beat honestly), and it's really soothing that way. 10/10 only complaint is that one stage in Kenya where the co-driver says water splash but it doesn't happen for another like, 7 pace notes, and when it does happen there isn't a pace note about it. LITERALLY unplayable.

WRC 10 features the last generation of cars before the switch to the hybrid engine system. I believe this entry is the best in the series simply due to the handling model. The stages are fun and challenging, some even demanding you stay focused and locked in for 15 minutes straight. Between the historical content and present day machines this is just pure fun for a true rally fan. Bought it for $10.

Good game. Looks great and feels good. Menu's are not fun to use, mostly if you are doing it with your wheel. I would say the menus are terrible in my opinion. Me crying below: Reason I wont be playing any more. Please let me use my clutch pedal, PLEASE !! Why isn't this a feature. Why would it let me chose a manual transmission when it really means manual sequential. Dirt rally 2 has this as an option. Clutch option regardless of the gearbox in question.
