My friend told me to by this game and at the time it was expensive. But after booting up the game I understood why, even my old mac could run it, fun for hours. Best $30 spent on a game.

I think Worms W.M.D is a great game, it's very fun but challenging at times, it gets annoying when you accidentally kill your own worm or end your turn in some stupid way and I admit the keybinds are pretty annoying at times like space bar is shoot/use and not jump, and how enter is jump, but it is a great game, when you have the keybinds down it's a fun game, admittedly I've ended my turn and killed my worms more then once and I have the keybinds down, but is a fun game nonetheless I hope at least someone found this review helpful.

The best part about worms is when you play your friends and they beat you simply because 3 of your worms spawned on the edge of a cliff in perilous territory. Then you play them again in a totally neutral starting position and you destroy them, thus proving that you fucking know warfare.

This would be the best Worms game, if it had special game modes like Worms World Party has. Worms World Party has fun modes like Crate Spy, which is fun because on a given player's turn, only they can see what's inside the boxes, so you never know what the enemy is collecting, and, in addition to that, because you can see what's inside the crates, it makes the game a mad scramble for powerful weapons. I've played Worms for many years and have found the most fun playing a game setup called "Crate Farmers", where you start with no weapons, but have lots of mobility utility items, and get your weapons only from crates that fall. Another fun mode that Worms W.M.D. is missing out on, is Crate Shower mode, which goes hand-in-hand with crate farming. Worms players on the online matches are delusional, believing that Worms is a high skill-capped game. I can't figure out where they got that idea from. Worms is very simple: knock enemy worms into the water if you can, and if you can't, then just use whatever weapon does the most damage to the worm. In addition, keep your worms AWAY from the water. Another thing that online players don't understand about Worms, is that the game is a free-for-all. One time a player complained in an online match because, in his eyes, everyone should've been attacking the player with the highest health instead of attacking him, but that's not how Worms works. In Worms, you do whatever you want. About the crate drops in the game: you get sick and tired of getting lame weapons like dodgy phone batteries, sheep on a rope, W1 rocket, and the unwanted present--that should be renamed to "unwanted weapon." As someone who's played Worms for countless years, here's my biggest complaint: they added in this crafting system, but it's badly designed, because you collect the materials to craft weapons from crates, when you should have to dig in the ground to get resources to make these weapons, and that would be much funner. Team 17 could've gone a step further to make the resources spawn in random places underground. Moreover, the game should have a Fog of War mode, where the whole game map is blacked out with darkness, and you can only see locations which your worms have explored. As for another complaint about the crafting system, I say that it's SUPER LAME that you can't turn crate drops on for craftable weapons. Overall, I've had many laughs playing Worms W.M.D., and it's the second best Worms game. Worms W.M.D. offers endless hours of fun.

In my memory, Worms Armageddon was the first videogame I ever consciously played, so it makes me extremely happy to know that Team17 is still pushing strong and not disappointing with new entries, like Worms W.M.D. The simplicity of the game and given that the concept has been in practice for over 2 decades, almost 3 at this point, makes it so this entry is terribly well polished. I couldn't find a single glitch or bug in the game and every part of the game felt like the original Armageddon, but newer. More weapons, more voices, more customization, more tools, crafting system, lots of single player content, etc. If you like a good turn-based artillery game, I can't recommend this game enough. That been said, I think 30$ is a bit excessive, so preferably wait for a sale to get it. You won't regret it!
