My grandpa from Argentina loved watching me play this game! Especially when you got to meet the Führer. 9/10, the only thing I didn’t like is that my grandfather was extremely upset whenever I killed the Nazis.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is an amazing game full of intense action, crazy plot twists, and exhilarating shootouts where B.J. Blazkowicz demolishes Nazis with unstoppable enthusiasm. However, when it comes to the DLCs, things get, let’s say, interesting, but not in the best way. The Freedom Chronicles DLCs include three episodes featuring new protagonists and side stories. Sounds exciting, right? But in practice, the levels feel like they’ve been patched together from recycled assets of the main campaign. There are barely any new enemies or mechanics, and the plots often feel like rushed fanfiction. For instance, Gunslinger Joe delivers solid action but lacks originality, while Agent Silent Death tries to focus on stealth but often results in more frustration than satisfaction. And the finales? Let’s just say they feel more like let’s wrap this up quickly than a proper conclusion. The base game is phenomenal, but the DLCs? Don’t expect groundbreaking experiences. Instead, they feel more like reheated leftovers. Honestly, you’d get more value from replaying the main campaign, which is ten times more fun and engaging

Real complicated feelings on this one. As a first-person shooter, a game to be experienced? Wolfenstein 2 of my new favorites. Looks and plays like a dream. The sound design and engine seriously make this 2017 game look like it came out today. Really high marks here. But As the finale to a trilogy, a cinematic story tying up loose ends? Much more troubling. While there are some very memorable set-pieces and moments of action, drama, and suspense, I felt myself getting really lost with how absurd the story starts to become. These games are anything but realistic, but they always felt just a bit more self-serious - Wolfenstein 2 is almost anything but. It's outwardly ludicrous in a way that is sometimes charming, but often grating or distracting. It's tone doesn't match the dire situations of the world & characters, and leaves me feeling dissonant from what it's trying to say. Also, I have to comment on some uniquely bad writing decisions here. Won't spoil anything, but yea - some of the flashbacks and the ending cutscene really stick out. Overall - I do recommend Wolfenstein 2. I have really loved playing this trilogy, but I might consider this game the weakest of the three. Huge potential, and the opening hours had me ecstatic, but I feel like it gets very distracted as the runtime continues. Not terrible by any means though. The series has never felt better to *PLAY*. But if you've found yourself invested in the characters and world at all, this one may leave you feeling disappointed.

Definitely the weakest of the trilogy but I still enjoyed it a fair bit. Also, fun fact: there's actual post-ending remixed levels to play, including Rosewell and BJ's house where you can fight both the KKK and Nazis!
