I'm going to use the dotemu sale as an opportunity to tell you that you should ABSOLUTELY get this game while it's on discount, it's been a great way to fuel parties, settle disputes and getting to terms with how it feels like to get your teeth kicked in by players that are away better than you (somehow this includes difficult AI)

Great new version of this arcade classic with a unique and visually appealing art style, which is not a given when it comes to former pixel art games from the arcade era, as seen with Street Fighter 6. It also has beautiful stages.

I think I decided I liked this game when I realized that bumpers acted in an inconsistent and unpredictable matter, and then decided that the game would be doubtlessly worse if they attempted to 'fix' this. This game has incredibly strong and tactile design and definitely accomplishes every single goal it sets out for. The only tragedy is the lack of western arcades for this to live in.

Extremely underrated and fun. The best types of games are the easy to learn hard to master games. Especially the ones with a gorgeous art style, unique characters, and killer soundtrack.

Awesome disc based 1v1 competitive game, online is dead but local multiplayer is a blast with friends. Love the crisp hand drawn art style and funky music which perfectly compliments the aesthetic the devs are going for. Mechanics are simple to pick up but there's a surprising amount of depth to accommodate advanced play. If you're planning on playing solo wait for a sale though because the single player arcade mode gets old fast.
