Wild West and Wizards has been a game on my backlog I've been looking forward to getting to, ever since forever ago. the ambition of a small indie studio working on a game of this scale, with a setting this interesting, was too tantalizing. and, y'know what? I love it. there is an undeniable layer of crust to this, but after playing Starfield's sterile regurgitation of the Bethesda formula, the fact that WW&W's an RPG/FPS that doesn't feel like it's just going through the motions really struck me. the sense of exploration, unearthing secrets, solving clever puzzles, and roaming an actually interesting world that isn't the same old, same old is what I really appreciated. plus the overall fantasy of being a wizard in the Wild West remains pretty damn unique for this genre, and it executes this with precision. if you don't mind some jank, this totally satisfied my desire for something in this field that actually had some of its own ideas and soul to it. for more thoughtful recommendations of the best games on Steam, check out my curator, [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38563966-The-Absolute-Finest/]The Absolute Finest .
