this is a great game, you can tell lots of thought went into it (i can't really explain without spoilers, so i wont) a fantastic throw back to the silly, simple, and fun times of the 90s/2000s very little hand holding, simple vague clues that lets you actually engage your brain for a moment (ZERO yellow paint <3 ) =========== [Cons] - spam clicking for hours is awful. they need to let you hold click --- some weapons do let you hold click, but the vast majority dont - combat feels like its missing something --- maybe blocking, maybe a cooldown, maybe CC, lots of choices - base building felt like it was going to go a lot further then it did - the blue zombie build hints get old fast --- they actually do give good information sometimes, but they go so slow and are so repetitive that actually watching them is painful after the first 5 --- the first one you watch is fun, maybe the 2nd.. the 10... kill me - dismounting is extremely slow and clunky - the pacing of unlocks was a bit slow - exploring early has no real payoff, this is really a linear game but the other areas are all open immediately (stick to the quests, exploring early is pointless) =========== overall, i think this is kind of a hidden diamond in the rough. if you can grab it for under 20 bucks, its probably worth it

Recommended for "How to survive" fans. No any glitch or technical issues during playing. Nice story, and a good final. A perfect game to get relaxed after a long day or just during a rainy one.

It's a decent game, you'll probably get bored before you finish it though. The whole "protect the base" aspect needs to be done better. It isn't very good and half the time the waves are sitting around somewhere on the map getting stuck on the way to the base. Whoever built the controls around the lady in the wheelchair that you have to push around deserves to walk on a floor of nothing but LEGO for the rest of their life. Get the game on sale, play it for a few hours and put it back on the shelf.

this game exceeded my expectations! Although i only have 40 hours the game play didn't get stale with the different weapon combinations and zombot builds you could use. its both perfect for sitting down and playing for 20 minutes here and there when you have time, and also a great game to binge all day! the story was quite captivating and very easy to follow, i also love that it doesn't take itself too seriously. the only negative thing i have to say about it is i feel like some animations are way too slow and really pull you out of the vibe. other than that it was onw of the best and unique games i have played in a while!

What a blast! It's not a hard game. The base building is very light - with a bit of tower defense as your 'ZomBots' can protect your home. Crafting was not intrusive to the gameplay. Some complain that the ZomBot followers were kind of dumb... They're zombies, of course they don't have perfect AI. It's not awesome AI, but it honestly was actually more immersive than game breaking or annoying. Also - it's really fun to change the ZomBot 'skins' - Zombie with a flame thrower, HECK YA he's in a chef costume! Combat was basic RB for light attack RT for heavy attack. Dying isn't punitive - you lose some XP, but can get it all back if you kill the zombie version of yourself where you died. I liked the story - it wasn't deep, but it was the right amount of campy for a zombie base building, tower defending, quest giving RPG. I had fun getting all the achievements and truly hope there is more DLC to come. NOTE - I played 90% of this on the Steam Deck. I spent several nights up way too late wanting to farm that last piece of armor (armor sets drop randomly from chests) or doing one more defend the base.
