20ish hours into the game and I'm loving it so far (i restart a lot), the story is good, the quests are fun, I found myself laughing out loud a couple of times because of funny dialogue, your choices kinda matter and they have an impact on the world, the classes and customisation are fun and diverse, and finally the combat is a blast Highly recommend for any rpg fan edit: I just finished the game and loved every minute of it

The game has a well-crafted story and atmosphere. The humor and cynicism are unparalleled. The cutscenes are very well directed. The combat and tactics are decent, though not exceptional. There's plenty of equipment, the skill tree is okay, and there are some cool Easter eggs. For difficulty, I'd say it's advanced, and the boss fights are quite enjoyable. Some decisions in the game have significant consequences. 9/10 points from me. A solid mix of real-time and turn-based combat.

Now this... This is a good game! The single-player experience is wonderful and the online co-op makes this even better. There are so many creative ways to play this one through so I have played this to the end multiple times.

A very good game that I'd highly recommend to fans of CRPGs. This was my first time playing a game from this franchise, and Wasteland 3 has a load zaniness and charm that I did not expect. It really feels like there's a lot of heart put into this game, and there are so many silly details sprinkled all over the place that make the game's world feel alive. The amount of hand-crafted combat scenarios, with creative gimmicks and level designs, greatly surprised and impressed me; as well as the degree to which investing in dialogue skills let you affect the outcome of certain scenarios. There are some repetitive combat encounters which can be initially annoying, but can be skipped once you are at a high-enough level in certain skills. I was also surprised at the bespoke animations that the devs made when speaking with important NPCs in certain scenes. That was a level of presentation I was not expecting, and really made those scenes feel much more immersive. If you have a friend who's interested, playing the game in co-op is a lot of fun, too! Wasteland 3 may not be the best in terms of graphics, or gameplay; but it does well enough in those categories; and with its larger-than-life characters and worldbuilding, and tons of enjoyable voiceacting, the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.
