It's such a odd game. performance is much better now after a few patches, but still kinda janky. It's fun but obviously needed more time to cook. This game definitely won't work for some, and rightfully so. But I have a good time with it, even with it's nonsense at times. I'd give this one a 6.5/10

This game is not perfect, and that is why I recommend it. Too many games (especially action games) are so afraid to do anything wrong that they do nothing interesting. This game is not like that. They chose to do some weird stuff and it is kind of janky, but the game is unique and memorable. This game reminds me a lot of WET on the Xbox 360. A slightly off and kind of out of place action game, but if you play it through, you will definitely remember it for a long time to come. 7/10 would recommend.

this game is incredible. the ratings are so wrong i just had to add my endorsement. haven't even finished it (about 20 hrs in-game), just somewhere toward the very end on hard mode, but i can confidently say i feel this game is a 10/10 masterpiece of sword/gun combat simulation. it might slap you upside the head with your own expectations and its fast, dense combat loop, but stick with it (literally just finish the tutorial, which by itself I would have happily considered worth the price of admission, since it personifies the game's combat loop) and you will find yourself addicted. unless you hate fast paced execution-heavy combat games, in which case why are you reading this far?

Was it worth the 60 bucks I paid for it? Nop Is it a Masterpiece? Not at all But did I have fun? Totally. Anyone who enjoyed such hack and slash games from the old days and bad dialogue, then I recommend this game. The difficulty spike during levels can be a pain though. I've died as much in this game as much as I've died in Cuphead. The PS3-era gameplay is fairly satisfying as janky as it is. There's around 50+ finishing moves and they're pretty good looking animations. The Story is lackluster, but I still found it enjoyable enough to complete the game. I will for sure play through this game a few more times. Recommended? Yep 7.5/10
