I'm a huge sucker for games on Mars. I originally played the mobile version, and I think this is one of the few early mobile ports that wasn't complete garbage. It's pretty cool if you're into Mars. There's a bit of a story but it feels rather lackluster. It's just cool to explore the inside of these caves and find alien life.

I originally played this game on IOS when it came out and so it was cool to go back and play through it on pc. The game has not been optimized for modern systems however, and you may have to tweak with resolution settings. I also had trouble trying to use a controller so just went with mouse and keyboard which was totally fine. The dialogue is a bit cheesy, but the story is enjoyable enough and I enjoyed uncovering the secrets of Mars. Other than research and exploration, the main gameplay element here is finding the right balance of lifeforms to get as much biomass as possible. It is sort of like a Metroidvania but puzzle oriented as opposed to combat. Pick it up on sale and you'll have a good few hours.

Good game, more to it than the first 20 minutes make it seem. You solve a bunch of puzzles in the theme of creating small simple ecosystems. I liked the voicework a lot.

Lots of fun, really lovely concept. Could be a little sharper with come controls but easy to play and fun to finish.

Almost a garden-tending simulator. It's fun to puzzle out the interactions between alien flora and fauna to maximize the size of your gardens. I think the closest thing I've played has been The Void.
