So far, this game has been a lot of fun! There's something about setting up a mobile base armed to the teeth with guns, while also sending out mining drones that just hits the spots. Wish I could build my own tanks/bots though to send out against the onslaught that comes for me.

Game is repetitive but it is fun the very time u play it, the only thing is the devs hibernate for 3-5 centuries then come out to write a "we hear you" thing then there nothing for another 3 months, also if u ask for a release date in the discord they cant help

Completely forgot to write a review way back when lol, even back then the game was off to a great start before the pretty large updates since 2020, I'm hyped about the new map they are creating. However, i have heard there is a rift between the community and devs right now but *don't* take my word on it as i have no idea about the scale/wether this is true or not. Other than that, the game is a jem with some great mods and great gameplay, seeing your drillship (basically a giant cuboid with a drill) become a bigger giant cuboid with a better drill is amazing. Definitely recommend

Upgrading the drillship and adding stuff to it is cool. The tech progression is kinda confusing at times, but the quest system is good at guiding you through it. The combat can get really difficult, as even on the easiest difficulty I had to actually prepare for fights, as I play solo. So I'd imagine if you bump up the difficulty, you really need to use all the tricks the game gives you. I also like the ability to control the drill remotely, like telling it to go underground or move to a landing point closer to your location. Speaking of the drill moving, an important thing to note is that the drillship can only surface at fixed points, not anywhere you want. It's understandable from a technical perspective, as having the ability to surface wherever you want is probably beyond what an indie studio can do. But it can also be a turnoff for some, understandably.
