Game is repetitive but it is fun the very time u play it, the only thing is the devs hibernate for 3-5 centuries then come out to write a "we hear you" thing then there nothing for another 3 months, also if u ask for a release date in the discord they cant help

Upgrading the drillship and adding stuff to it is cool. The tech progression is kinda confusing at times, but the quest system is good at guiding you through it. The combat can get really difficult, as even on the easiest difficulty I had to actually prepare for fights, as I play solo. So I'd imagine if you bump up the difficulty, you really need to use all the tricks the game gives you. I also like the ability to control the drill remotely, like telling it to go underground or move to a landing point closer to your location. Speaking of the drill moving, an important thing to note is that the drillship can only surface at fixed points, not anywhere you want. It's understandable from a technical perspective, as having the ability to surface wherever you want is probably beyond what an indie studio can do. But it can also be a turnoff for some, understandably.

I love this game, the dev is putting a lot of work into making the game better. As i see from discussions the dev replies to questions put by people in the community. I love how much this game throws at you, its not too much that you're overwelhmed with no where to go, but it's also not too little that you're just walking around

Unique concept. Having a drill ship that goes underground and a mobile base is nice. The tutorial does a good job of guiding the players through the tech levels. At 31 hours I have definitely got my money's worth from this game. The eruption is a nag and unfortunately quick in higher difficulties, if i could keep the difficulty level but increase the volcano duration, I would. Going out an exploring without having to return to the ship (or hide in a mine/town) would have been nice. The game gets repetitive at higher levels, but that is just how tech levels works in most games. Get gear, attack new ships, make better gear, rinse and repeat. The level bosses (the big drills) are easier than enemy drill ships. You can usually just snipe all the legs from one side of the chasm.
