Nov. 2024

This is probably the most artistic, creative, and convention-breaking in the genre at the moment. It can get a bit cluttered for a bullet hell but there are options that help resolve clarity like highlighting enemy bullets. I'd say the weakest point is the narration as it just doesn't come off well, but even that is a minor gripe. I also normally HATE these types of games with jumping mechanics but this actually feels really fluid. They nailed the formula in my opinion.

Personally, I have to say it’s the best in the genre. The weapons are so ridiculous and beautiful. Being able to kill your enemies with a sausage dog that is actually A WHIP and having a turtle with weapons... I don’t know what else to say. It’s easily one of my favorite games and one of the few where, when a new patch comes out, I know I need to lock myself in at home to earn the achievements and check out the new content. QUALIFICATION 10/10 ANIMAL ABUSE

This game fed my ADHD dopamine hungry brain and the gameplay is just to fun, I can go for 3 runs in a row and still have the focuse to play more

Extremely creative and pretty rouge-like with just the right amount of challenge. replacing the industry standard dodge roll with a jump you can goomba stop with is so fuckin rad. Playing this game after dead cells was such a relief, all the cool items are right there and not locked behind 94745384 hours of meta progression, what meta progression there is is decently manageable.

Within my first play session, I got a skeleton gun that shoots music notes and toots whenever I fire it. I got an upgrade that made the bullets target enemies, go faster, and explode. I named him Robert. Robert is super deadly. Robert is my go to weapon now. If you see Robert, let his musician dream come true
