As a bisexual, gay-leaning man who's also a voice director for his 18+ LGBTQ+ projects, I wholeheartedly approve. I've only finished Jun's route, but I can already see this as my first BL comfort game ever. Most other have never comforted me like this game has, be them clearly made for fujoshis or other reasons. This game? It's certainly made for the community and allies. As for the dubcon themes in the VA jobs some people have issue with, I'm afraid to say you're misunderstanding the game's fiction with its reality. Even in our reality, those jobs are simply part of the BL industry. It's realistic for them to include those in. You being disturbed should clue you in on where the state of the industry has been for so long. I'm glad to see people fighting back though, for sure. But to accuse this game for also being backwards for simply shedding light on it is not the way. As a gay-leaning bi man, I'm disappointed in you. Hopeful you'll do better though. In terms of the gameplay, it's quite addictive for those who enjoy time management games! Not too hard, not too easy, just right. I'm not sure why people call it too hard? I completed Jun's route without any guide at all. Maybe I'm just a veteran though, who knows. All in all, I highly recommend this game for BL enthusiasts looking for a comforting slice-of-life moments with bits of drama here and there ( you can text skip the dubcon VA scenes no problem ). I played 16 hours straight without any sleep, so yehhh, lol. Play it at your own risk! Don't expect any actual sexual content between the actual chars though, Just wholesome feels all around so far! Anything sexual is only in the VA scenarios, which are just text and audio. I give this game a solid 9/10. Not perfect by any means and it using AI art for minor assets is quite worrisome, but I'm grateful to this game for giving me hope and comfort in my own day to day and working life. Definitely will replay whenever I feel down. The OSTs and everything are just that heartfelt. So, thank you to the dev team for making this game. Please continue to make your LGBTQ+ games for the community and allies, as all of them should be. Looking forward to the next one.

It's really difficult to write a review to this. On one side I love the game for it's positivity towards the LGBTQ+ scene. On the other side I have become frustrated with the game more than once now. This is by no means my first BL VN game, nor is it my first time-management game (the first VN I ever played was called 'True Love' back in the day and yet I find myself struggling with this game. But let's start with the positives: #1 This is by far the most LGBTQ+ positive BL game I have seen coming out of East Asia (Softstar according to Google is a Taiwanese Development Studio). I find the dialogues heart-warming. The gay characters in this know that they are actually gay and don't use the cop out tropes of 'I'm not gay, I just like you' and we can see the struggles they have being accepted by conservative parts of a society. Those struggles are portrayed with respect and there are quite a few characters who support the gay cast in being themselves. The message is clear: 'Love knows no Gender' #2 The Artstyle is really phenomenal. #3 All four main dudes are very lovable. - Now for the negatives though. Things that frustrate me: #1 Repetitive Gameplay. After you have played through the game once you feel satiated by the gameplay. The Voice Drama recording has many mechanics based on luck and you can't really reload until after the Recording sessions are finished and sometimes between recording sessions and the point where you can load again has lots of dialogue in it. #2 The doorbell rings - The characters you meet keep visiting you regularly, but most of the time they have just the same stuff to say that they said at their last visit. It just takes uneccesarily RL time away. Of course your relationship to them gets better during those visits, but they could still have found a better solution for that (like making the point margin you need for the next level of relationship smaller). #3 Controls made for console - I notice that whenever I want to use the items that increase my audio-drama-recording-stats. You first have to buy the items (one by one, unless I missed a way to buy/use multiple items at once), then you have to navigate to the inventory, pick the item you want to use and then you are asked if you really want to use it. And you have to navigate your mouse cursor over there. It's just tedious. Also why would I not want to use items that increase my stats? There is no reason to save the items for later use. #4 Unclear requirements to reach each Boy's Ending - I got through the Junichi Route without problem, but then I got stuck in the Yuki route, not knowing where I went wrong. I then read in a guide that a lovely fellow player provided that I have to bring his favour to 930 and also record his 3rd voice drama by the time June arrives. When I did that I could finish his Route. Now however I'm stuck yet again with Ryousei, with him I have his romance unlocked and his relationship number is at 999, still I never get called to record his 4th voice drama. The game does not give you any feedback about what prerequisite I'm missing. So I'm left wondering, would I have needed to increase the relationship number of another character before a certain point for Ryousei's Route. Would I have needed to unlock a certain one of the non-main characters (William)? Or should I have gone in the field to make audio recordings? I simply don't know what I'm doing wrong. The only feedback the game gives me is not to record the final Audio Drama before finishing Ryousei's 4th audio drama. Thank you game, I can't do that if you don't give me the opportunity to record it. Yeah, that's what's frustrating to me, especially since playing through the game even if you skip what you have already read takes 5 to 7 hours, so if you don't get the ending and have to start over again with gameplay that is not really top-notch that's just not fun. Especially if you don't even know what to do to fix the issue you had with finishing up the relationship in the first place. If there at least would be bad endings for the guys, but whenever you fail you get just the same Solo Ending. NG+ doesn't take over your stats, but it carries over the traits you unlocked for the voice-recording cast that works for Aki. So all in all I love the game in some parts, but I really am frustrated by it, too. I still rate it positive, since it's soooo good when you don't get stuck. If I could give a rating in numbers I'd go to 70% for the game. Best BL game I played is still Dramatical Murder, Best Time Managment Game I played is still Princess Maker 2. Still this game is worth playing if you can be satisfied (like me) alone from its LGBTQ+ positive narrative and the Artwork. Edit: I do have to add that after I wrote the Review the Game was patched. Seemingly not being able to finish Ryousei's Route was a bug of the game. Now that is was fixed I could finish his Route. Now I only have Wesley to go.

Best BL game that I played so far! 😍 Great art, great voice acting and great game play~ ============================== To whoever who came across my review... I updated my thoughts below after 50+ hours of game play. This game is for you if you: 1. Like planning and managing routines to achieve your goals. 2. Are patient with unwrapping the unknown sides of characters. 3. Love heartwarming stories. Because the story is really sweet and heartwarming! 4. Don't mind some challenges along the way. (I made a guide about some basic walkthroughs. Do check them out please thanks!) 5. Love radio dramas. (Because I love them very much!! Thanks developers!) This game is probably NOT for you if you: 1. Can't take challenges and get frustrated if you can't progress the story and get the ending that you wanted. 2. Are VERY impatient with repetitive routines. 3. Want lots of romance elements. - Too bad the game is mostly about progressing your voice directing career, moving on from your childhood trauma, and slowly warming up to your potential lover. - You only get the "food" (romance) at the very end of the game. After the freaking credits :') ============================== Highlights of the game 1. Voice acting - All characters are voiced. - You get to hear them perform voice acting for different sorts of BL radio drama characters, which is very interesting and refreshing to hear. The individual radio dramas are so exciting and pleasant to the ears. - You can match different seme with different uke (each with different tones) for an entirely different experience too. 2. Addictive game play - You can visit different places to talk with the characters and progress your relationship with them. - You can buy gifts to give characters and receive text replies from them. Haha it's kinda interesting to guess what kind of gifts they like XD - You can visit different places to collect voice samples and earn money. You can also increase friendliness with the character you meet by chance. 3. Experience the process of radio drama production - You get to read the script, then decide which kind of tone the seme and uke should use to perform. - During voice recording, the two characters do some rebellious things sometimes so kinda annoying to get them to perform the right thing. You both need some smacking from your voice director Aki!! 😤 Sometimes you have to replay the voice recording process to get a good rating for more money (Yes thanks to them not following the tone required by the script and them dissing each other's voice acting... Like can you two cooperate?! 😒 Anyways it's still a funny and cute interaction 🤭 ============================== There are some translation and typo errors in the English version so I switched to the Simplified Chinese version. Developers please fix them for a better experience for the English audience! Anyways, I'm still slowly progressing the game so don't mind me if there's any mistakes in my review. Thank you for the great game! ❤️ Best birthday gift I bought for myself (hehe even though it's 2 days early)

I’m a huge fan of Softstar’s Stardom series, and discovered the release of Voice Love On Air by chance from Steam. Immediately tried the Demo then bought the game. Having played through the first time round, this game may not quite have the vast worlds and contents of the Stardom series, but it has a huge upside: the voice actors and their different styles! Listening to Ryosei in his Cool or Mature voice, then hearing his Weak performance for the first time, wow the contrast was amazing! Same for Yuki’s Dominant and Weak voices. The voice actors are so versatile and made each of the different styles really worth listening to. I just begun the second play-through and still paused to listen through the entire radio plays with different actors. A warning to first time players, be careful not to delay recording the radio plays of the character you want to target. I took my time with the third play for Ryosei, and was hit with an “unable to unlock next level” at the end of May in the 2nd year after an event. Very luckily I had a saved file from beginning of April, and JUST managed to complete the play with no time to spare, phew! If you’re not careful, then once the heart progress is locked you’ll have no chance to romance that character for the rest of the play-through. Also Yuki’s ending can’t be completed in the 1st play-through, so target someone else first time round. I’m off for finish my second play-through, can’t wait to listen to some different actors for the radio plays this time round!

If you've ever played Tokimeki; it's basically that formula in terms of balance/management but a bit easier and BL of course! I have only done some of Ryousei's route and this game is so unbelievably enjoyable <3 Each guy you romance has a definitive story should you choose to focus on them and the dates tie-in to story moments frequently and/or show you more of their personality which I love my pros and cons: Pros- -Gorgeous CGs -Varied men whom are all really fun to get to know (I suspect the other 4 will be added in the future as Makoto a currently non-romanceable is pretty flirty haha, I hope this happens all so aesthetic <3) -BL recordings feel a bit rng but very rewarding when you manage to get your Uke/Seme trait maxed for best outcome (hearing the recording is a blast with the trait you gave the Seiyuu) -Beautiful soundtrack keeps the game feeling cozy and fun (OP song is my fav) -Full fledged story as you progress love to see MCs growth as an Audio Recorder -I love that in the title you can re-listen to the BL recording you chose with the personality types you gave them <3 -Lots more but it's easier to play and experience Cons: Only thing I can genuinely think of right now typos and one audio had "her" instead of "his" I mean BL y'all lol but overlooking this the overall game is full of wonderful characters and a great story. I do hope the other 4 men get added i'd be so thrilled <3 Definitely recommend for any management/BL lovers you won't regret it :)
