this is a nice autopilot game no no no not the autopilot as in "oh hey guys im tired and im gonna play this game" no this is the game where you say fucking nothing for an hour straight with zero emotions on your face autopilot this is the game for you if you wanna look like your fuckin dead

Viscera Cleanup Detail is a fun game to play with friends or listen to something in the background if going solo. For a decade old game, it holds up on the fun factor and looks decent (recommend it on sale). That being said it's a shame the game runs poorly by default. To get the most out of the game (and its expansions) you'll need to manually adjust the fps. Go to steam\steamapps\common\viscera\engine\config\BaseEngine.INI (or from your library-properties-installed files-browse). Open this file with Word or Notepad and search for the following: bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE MinSmoothedFrameRate=166 (game will bug if this goes beyond 166- adjust to your liking) MaxSmoothedFrameRate=166 (game will bug if this goes beyond 166- adjust to your liking) Now save the file and upon reopening the game you'll have better fps. I play this game inbetween university classes. A few months ago a dude came up asking what I was playing, and he watched me play for a while before getting it himself and joining me. Long story short, were dating now and we meet almost every day to play this together. this is a 10/10 game and a 10/10 wingman.

it's one of those very simple games that are just perfect for keeping your hands busy when rewatching a movie, binge watching a series, listening an audiobook or a podcast. there are no timers, no skill checks, nothing demanding immediate and undivided attention of the player leaving your mind free to wander between this and whatever else it is you're doing. the game can also work as a co-op background for you and your friends yapping session.
