Just WOW... Vertigo 1 is like a sketch of a cool thing done in a short time of 1 year. Vertigo 2 is a whole sculpture, after 7 years of work and creative freedom and polish which came without time constraints. There are some cool connections to first one, so play both. It is worth it. If creator has no energy or creative fuel to do another game, then please do some side work to help other projects or something, cuz your creative stuff in this game were great! I played first one on Viveport infinity, which allows you to play some games after monthly payment. At some point I am going to buy remaster here too, just from respect for the dev.

Huge mistake playing this game as a first PCVR experience. It's just so good - not so many titles can come close, almost everything else feels inferior after this game

This game is a gem. A little rough around the edges, buy overall a fantastic story, gunplay, and adventure game. You can tell alot of love and effort went into this one. Felt like a passion project from a friend. 9/10 VR game

best vr game you can get it kind of feels like half life 1 and half life 2 combined somehow. im not sure how to explain it. one thing that really suprised me is the boss(es), ive only beaten the first boss so far but it was one of the best boss battles ive ever seen in a vr game. If you like the half life games, or even if you dont, play this game! it has the best gameplay and gunplay you can get in a vr game all built into good campaign.

Writing is obnoxiously corny at times, but aside from that a phenomenally well made and fun VR game. Highly, highly recommended. One downside, and one that you'll commonly see people mention, is the difficulty. This can be solved twofold; one, try and hit headshots, they reward you with ~3x damage per hit, which massively helps in fights. Aside from that, know your enemy. Running headfirst with a shotgun every time will get you killed. But if youre still finding the game too hard, just turn it down. I played through the game on Normal mode, but some bosses were still just a bit too much, and I turned it to Easy temporarily during the fight, then set it back. It's a minor annoyance, but makes the game much more enjoyable. Don't torment yourself, put it on Easy or Story if you need to.
