verlet swing is a fast-paced, precision-based parkour game with a vaporwave aesthetic; it's grounded in momentum management and controlling the amount of speed & height one gains from swinging, with the addition of "horizontal swings", which you perform with the movement keys to steer yourself to any direction. all 100 levels are unique and possess their own string of mini challenges within, the movements you're expected to pull off become stricter with timing. individual levels require a lot of your attention to give precise, but forceful swings and expect a lot from you. the last 20 levels in particular are notorious for their lack of mercy towards the player, and the level design is deeply fascinating and especially shines there. do not play this game if you're prone to seizures or sensitive to bright colors/screen flashes.

Impeccable vibes, love the whole vaporwave aesthetic, and the movement is, in general, pretty satisfying However, the last 10 or so levels are extremely sadistic (My breaking point was 96 but as I understand they only get harder and harder). There's a good reason 90% less players have the achievement for beating the final world compared to the second last one. Also, minor gripe, but the snapping on the anchor points feels way too loose. Felt like it the grappling hook would target them if it was anywhere within like half the screen width of the point Otherwise, pretty good game, and outside the final few levels, level design is extremely solid.

What this game is: Swinging. What this game isn't: Running, jumping, wall jumping, anything that isn't swinging. If you came to this game wanting something like Cyberhook, you're close and you'll like it. This game is about swinging though, make no mistake. Your line is just that, a line, it isn't a grapple that will reel you in, and that makes the distance you are from your chosen anchor really important among some other strategies. Every surface is death. This doesn't make it a bad game, but I do feel like it makes it more chill and slower paced than something like Cyberhook. Really fun though, and it does scratch the schmovement itch.

A simple but fun parkour grapple hook game. If you like Clustertruck or Cyberhook this should be right up your alley. Got it for 3 bucks, which is a steal.

Is this game beatable in an hour on your first run (Probably not) well worth the sale price of 2.99. I got 3.5 hours out of it ans still haven't done the challenge mode or beat the game. I'm Currently stuck on level 97/100 and will probably spend 30min to an hour trying to get to level 98. After level 80 the game becomes a real challenge. This game is a can be replayed especially if you want to try to get all trophies per level.
