Игра гениальная! Но, к сожалению, мало кто её сможет оценить сейчас, времена и привычки поменялись, даже среди тек, кто прошёл когда-то и сейчас ностальгирует. Нужна более серьёзна работа, "запускается - и ладно" не хватит даже на пиво. А вот если сделаеть доработку интерфейса, разрешение, чуть-чуть физики и баланса - авось и пойдёт по принципу "не зря откопали стюардессу".

There are only two options: you either drop it in the middle and consider it some random old junk for the rest of your life OR you finish it and it becomes THE game for you. There is simply nothing like Vangers. You'd want more, but there simply isn't. Gameplay, narrative, music or design - you won't be able to find anything resembling this experience, which is in itself both a blessing and a curse. Additionally - good luck finding someone patient enough to listen (or, god forbid, discuss) the contents of this one-in-a-million-years game. Sure, the entry threshold is high, it can be frustrating and it expects commitment from you. But you will be rewarded for it in the end, you will feel that all this misery roaming the roads of Fostral or Glorx was for something. In the end it will all make sense, and I mean every single bit of your experience. Just play this. If it isn't your thing - fine, but if you *commit*, you won't be able to forget Vangers, ever. (Also, keep several save files and don't hesitate to consult playthroughs. We're all humans after all, soft creatures.)

Absolutely recommended IF you're ready to learn. As a warning to any new players, you're going to be confused and have no idea whats happening. just a tip? follow a guide for the first parts of the game, remap your buttons IIMMEEDIATELYYY and get ready to not understand what anyone is saying. This game is mystical and spellbinding in a way I cant exactly put into words. Its odd, annoying, hard to control but inevitably learnable and familiar. The designs for the characters are charming and memorable, the gameplay definitely isnt too dull when you're stuck underwater in a heavy mechos and five people are shooting at you, and I always appreciate the love I can see was poured into it's creation. Look at the files! there are dedicated file viewers for this game online, and its a treat to see everything underneath the carapace. WARNING this game will make you gay and transgender. its true... it happened to me

Well, "Vangers" is weird. Really weird art style, convoluted plot, bizarre vocabulary and lore. But it is also strangely charming. It is notable that under all this thick layer of weirdness, this game belongs to a genre which is quite rare nowadays - vehicle combat game with an open world. And in my opinion, the gaming world definitely needs more games like this - cars, guns, exploration, post-apocalyptic world. Also, I would say that Vangers have aged well from the technical viewpoint, with simple yet nice graphics with the fully destructible voxel landscape. But, in my humble opinion, Vangers could greatly benefit from having MORE STUFF. More types of guns, more car varieties, more cities, more goods to trade. Probably, some ways to interact with other drivers other than just shooting them (like, trading, hiring, or intimidating) also. I remember my slight frustration when discovering that we have only (*) inhabited worlds and a handful of bases. Of course, nowadays we all are a bit spoiled by huge open world games with maps stretching for miles and filled with procedurally-generated soulless junk. "Vangers" is thoroughly hand-crafted, and you can feel it. But I just wish it had more guns:)
