Great game but what is the point of making the game free if you are going to make people pay to play the actual game

What I like -Faithful to Halo. This game felt most similar to Halo than all the other games even the non-VR ones. -Fun. -A lot of interactions -Plenty of fun game modes -Engaging -Guns feel really good to hold, shoot and interact with What I didn't like -Having this game not to have armored costumes like the super cool Halo's mjolnir is such a missed opportunity. Instead we get black and white suits wearing masks. What I don't like about this is sometimes there are players wearing black and white outfit, causing confusion whether he's ally or enemy. -The player first person arms coats obstructs the screen sometimes. Since the arms have coats in the first person view, the arms hangs out sometiems and blocks the gun view for a moment. -No lore? I'm interested on what the Colonists and Reyab forces are and what they do. I know it's a multiplayer game, but I wished the game had some sort of lore behind this. -Needs holster adjustment. The weapons, ammo and grenades are all in one spot that it's difficult to equip the right item you want like a mag without looking at your chest Right now, this is THE best VR multiplayer shooter alongside Contractors.

Been back and forth with VAIL for a year now and I have been really logging in the hours recently. Once you get into the competitive nature of the game it becomes incredibly fun and addicting. An amazing break from Ghosts of Tabor because the guns and mechanics in VAIL really put Tabor to shame which is sad to say because I love Tabor. VAIL is seriously top of it's class when it comes to FPS in VR. An incredible experience that I would highly recommend!

One of the best VR team shooters. Too bad I suck. For real, if you're bad at shooters don't bother, these kids are freaking cracked. And yeah there's a lot of kids on this one.

Im new to vr and this game but felt after seeing some of the brain dead reviews i should add my own Firstly, id like to say that this game by far feel the best out of the limited vr games i have played, smooth, runs like a dream (as far as vr goes), guns feel good, etc. Second, Yes the games main "thing" is tac shooter similar to csgo, valorant, siege, etc. Its literally written on the tin, leaving a bad review because the game is exactly what it says it is, is crazy to me. There's also non comp modes that are extremely fun. Third, yes, quest kids are annoying, don't like it? just bring up the menu and click the headphones icon to deafen just like on discord. Again, don't get why this is something worth leaving a negative review for. Lastly, i just want to say vr is a very small community, there are going to be issues with skill splits and matchmaking because there isn't 1 million concurrent players to pool from, I'm sure the devs are doing their best because they have shown consistently that they care about the community and the game as a whole. This is why i hate the people leaving negative reviews that hold 0 weight. We need to support the devs that care, not shit on them because its not the game YOU want.
