I want you to know, EnDrew, I love this game. I've played a bit, kept close tabs since, and you are a literal horror genius. That being said, I myself am awful at horror games, and too spooked to play alone anymore. I built three walls inside a singular doorway to keep a chainsaw dude out and I was never the same. But I see you. I appreciate you. One day, I'll play your game. Just know, I'm very impressed. And I'm training to one day join this world.

Upfront: NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. This would definitely hit the M for mature rating. Take Minecraft's "one more thing" compulsion, plus the most flexible and creative building system I've ever seen, with a twist of "The Long Dark" survival elements (difficulty seems mostly to effect loot spawns directly impacting your ability to mitigate fog, instead of the cold) and then throw in the huge "WTF is this weird shit?" energy. I've mostly been having a chill time. But you start venturing out, pushing underground into the dark reaches, things take bad turns. Prep your base well, FIND THE MAP BEFORE EXPLORING TOO MUCH, and even if hoards descend on you, it's stressful but manageable. Roads are your best friends starting out- don't stray far until you find your RV and its contents. You control the difficulty. Your choices have consequences. Fail to plan, then plan to fail. It's theoretically plausible to play in a nomadic style- on default settings, I'd say it's even realistic. That said, when the piss hits the fan, you're pretty much screwed. The building system takes a bit of a paradigm shift to adapt to, but it's one of the strongest entries I've ever seen. I custom built a working drawbridge- with ease. But if you don't leverage that system, you're just begging to be punished. And eventually, the game will deliver. The game is very good at facing you with tough choices. Do you smash that wall that will release a massive amount of gross fog, or turn back? You've already smashed two others, and both had lore and/or loot. But you didn't bring molotovs to burn it, and you HAVE already smashed two, not to mention all the piss stained enemies you've been killing... who seem to be leaking... To the solo Dev.: You are brilliant. A genius. Compelling gameplay in the vein of The Long Dark is rare. A unique and powerful building system with the type of flexibility you pulled off is even more so. Managing to capture that "one more thing" compulsion that Minecraft is famous for is no easy feat. So I must ask: Why have you chosen to use your power to create a game about piss?? Are genius and madness really so intertwined? (But seriously, mad props for turning such a disgusting concept into something so weirdly engaging.)

I am a huge Survival Horror fan. I am a huge open world crafting fan. Urge has ruined me. The piss game, in my opinion, is the best open world survival crafting game on the market. The best one ever created. This dev took the most ludicrous concept, "What if piss would destroy the environment and end the world?" and combined it with the most outstanding grasp on what makes a great game. There is truly nothing like Urge. You have to piss. No, not you specifically, but the player character in game. If you do have to piss, stop reading and go do that you psycho. Feel like I didn't have to write that one down for ya. The question isn't when you piss, but WHERE you piss! Your piss releases gas up into the atmosphere, so in a pinch, sure! Piss on the ground. You will live to regret that. As you pollute the world, the piss fog grows larger. The higher the fog amount, the more enemies spawn. Stronger enemies spawn. Visibility lowers. Everything gets worse. There are ways to lower the fog, and make sure you know what they are well before you are forced to learn! In this game, you are just some dude in the wasteland with his piss stained pants, you don't know how to make cool stuff to whack a weirdo with. You only know you gotta PISS! Sure, you can craft 3rd grade science fair project tier garbage, but if you want a real gun, or a functioning car, you gotta find it! The game isn't going to tell you where stuff is at, it's up to your own intuition, sense of exploration, ability to infer from notes, and the wiki (Wait no, not that last one) To find the cool stuff! And you're going to need it too! A car in particular! But the dev made me promise not to tell you where the early one is or else he'll piss my pants :( Need to gas up your car? Good news! Your piss is flammable and can be used as fuel. Bad news? It'll still pollute the world as you drive. You need to purify the piss to make it safe, which means crafting plastic tenting to place around your piss purifier. What a special game this is! The free form base building system is brilliant. Make any component as big or as small as you want! Want to build a 100 foot tall single piece wall so a gaping hole is created in your base when it breaks? Go for it, I won't tell anyone! You can also build on cars! Want to put 30 chests on the back of your sedan? Cool bro, why are you telling me about it? Want to turn the giant flat bed truck into a reinforced mobile base? You go, piss girl. If you're curious, just get it. Do it, you coward! What, scared of a little piss? Boo hoo. Get the game and conquer your fear, it is truly like nothing else you've played!

This is the dream you have when you fall asleep watching a movie with subtitles and your brain is attempting to process what it's hearing while also trying to warn you that you're about to piss yourself.
