A very therapeutic little game. You move boxes which are locked in until they are all unlocked. Eventually the goal changes and on top of unlocking you then have to line up the lines of your freshly-unlocked boxes. It’s quite mindless and not at all difficult, but that was the beauty of it.

A ~1 hour long (give or take) anthology of sliding puzzles with diverse mechanics. When you finish a level the screen starts epileptic flashing and plays a jumpscare sound. The author seems to like to add some ominous tone to their casual games.

Up Left Out is yet another great puzzle title from Maciej. The game succeeds with a sensible difficulty curve with challenging later levels, no penalties (nor hints), and executes well on simple concepts. Also available on mobile, which I imagine translates to touch very well.

Nice sliding block puzzle game - mainly creating shapes or lines. As almost always the developer does a good job with new mechanics and progression is perfect.

Up Left Out , as with every other games from Maciej Targoni , achieves taking a simple concept or idea and making something fun and enjoyable out of it. The mechanics of the game are intuitive, and each time a new mechanic is introduced, it is done in a clear and understandable manner. The levels slowly increase in difficulty, yet they remain within a casual range, without becoming dauntingly complexe or time consuming to solve. The visual aestethics of the game are clean, polished, and of good quality. In the case of Up Left Out , my only negative criticism would be in regards to the loud sound that is played whenever a level is solved, which unfortunately cannot be turned off, and works against the otherwise calm atmosphere of the game. Up Left Out is overall a good quality, concise, and enjoyable puzzle game, and remains one of my favorites in terms of gameplay and visuals amongst the games from Maciej Targoni .
