Nothing else comes close in terms of visuals and haptics meshing so fluidly together. The weapons feel so real when you run the blades along each other. Attack patterns are well thought out and the game acts as an incredible workout as you're dodging and slicing. I haven't had so much fun with exercise since the Xbox 360 released the Kinect. Incredibly well optimized, fantastic gameplay loop, and is quite possibly the best VR experience I've ever played. If they released additional content with the same level of quality, I would eat it up in a heartbeat.

Still One of the best VR Fighting Games To Date If you have tried numerous other VR fighting games there is one thing they have in common, VR jank. Whether its just plain jank from VR controls or physics, a lot of them just don't 'feel' well. Namely "Blade & Sorcery". You either love the realism or you hate it due to its physics jank. Well, in Until You Fall, the devs opted into a more streamlined fighting system without physics and it feels good! Fighting System Due to how the fighting system works, you cannot spam attacks as your opponents block them. In this game you have to get rid of their block by dashing into them or waiting for an opportunity that they have an opening. Enemies have a 'defense' meter and once that meter drains, the enemy goes into stagger mode which you are told where to cut/hit and you have a limited of time to do so. Each hit drains their health. It simply feels good and is quite a workout! The game forces you to play more methodically rather than rushing into it as you can be surrounded if you get yourself in a bad situation. Gameplay The game plays like a arcade fighting game that has you fighting through enemies with boss fights in between sections. Each section contains a few levels which get progressively harder as you encounter more unique enemies that range from armor-less foes to heavy armored knights with shields and stealthy/quick enemies that throw daggers at a distance. Boss fights are quite engaging too and offer unique game play per fight. Graphics & Soundtrack Although it is kind of an older VR game now, the graphics are still beautiful to look at in VR. The neon 'retro' aesthetic just looks awesome! The overall style of the game fits VR well as its both simple and gorgeous! The soundtrack is an absolute banger that compliments the visuals and really gets you pumping while you are fighting. Difficulty The game is quite difficult. It really is a workout so expect yourself to easily get winded during a run. You will probably die quite a few times before you can even beat the first few sections. But, that is the game as you need to upgrade your weaponry to make your runs easier. Overall If you have not played this classic VR title yet, do yourself a favor and do so! It is so much fun! Quite challenging, but a fun time when you start getting the hang of things!

Holy moly, this is GREAT! First impressions: The fighting system is very rewarding and makes you feel badass, while providing an adequate, hard challenge. The music will drive you forward and supplements the experience well. In general the gameplay just feels very natural and I had no motion sickness at all, even with Viginette disabled. And sometimes it's the little things like being able to scrape your weapons against each other to make sparks fly that will pull you in and make things immediately more fun. And you definitely get your workout in with this kind of game, that's for sure! I only hope the enemy variety is there, at least in the first few stages it was always the same few, but I also only scraped the surface of the game for now. Big recommend so far!

I was underwhelmed by Asgard's Wrath 2 because it tried to be a AAA game: you spend a lot of time managing inventory, solving childish puzzles, and being forced to listen to a story you don't care about. It feels like the developers never considered that your VR play session is time-limited, making features that work for Ubisoft-style games completely out of place here. This title is the opposite of that - it doesn't waste even a second of your time and doesn't try to overload you with filler content. In fact, it's by far the best VR game I've played. It's fast-paced, extremely fun, but also hard to master. I can't remember the last time I've had so many emotions (mostly cursing) while playing a video game. In the beginning, you feel frustrated by the foes you encounter, so it's very satisfying when the enemies you once considered bosses 'become' normal mobs because you've skilled up. So yeah, if that resonates with you, definitely buy it.
