Feels a bit more grindy than two-point hospital either that or i just blocked it out like i did with this, I like to get 3 stars and stuff like that cuz my brain hates me and loves achievments so there tends to be a lot of just waiting for the year to end so thats annoying the 3x speed doesnt feel fast enough but i fucking love this series of games so ill prolly end up buying the next one too its got great art, a funny radio / good music, gameplay can get repetitive but what can you expect its the same with most games

I bought this game and all of its DLCs a while ago during a deep sale on Steam but just now have gotten around to actually launching it and checking it out. What a pleasant surprise it has been. If you're a fan of management sim games like I am, this game is a real treat. It has a lot more variety of 'things' than most any game of the genre I have played before, with a broad selection of campuses, objects, class/course types, etc. etc. The uniqueness of the actual theme, that of building and managing a campus, is also refreshing to someone who has played a whole lot of this genre of game over the last several decades. So far I have only played Career mode, and only 3 of the dozen or so campuses in that mode. Each campus has a different premise, with different courses as the primary, starting focus, and each feels quite unique as a result. As you progress through Career mode, you unlock additional campuses, and objects, and courses, etc. and you can move between the various campuses you have already begun to add any of the new things you unlocked in another one. In this respect you aren't just managing "a campus" but a collection of campuses, which is more than I had expected from the game based on what I had read about. It's a lot of fun. The game also has Sandbox and Challenge modes, to extend the playability even further, and has mod support, which also surprised me, as it doesn't support mods through Steam Workshop. Nonetheless the in-game mod browser works well, with the downside that it does require signing up for a 3rd party site and connecting it to your Steam account. I'd have preferred they just do Steam Workshop, but it's a small gripe and, so far, my only gripe with the game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes the genre. It's great fun.

Not very deep and rather easy to play. I like that. I like that the game doesn't force a certain play style, you can play however fast or slow as you want. The game also introduces the game play elements one after another in the "campaign", makes learning the game really smooth. Another good thing is how easy it is to move around whole rooms and generally remodel/reorganise, makes it easy to just place something without stressing about perfect placement. It's easy to optimise later on.

Two Point Campus turned out to be quite fun and challenging! The developers managed to bring over the same charme and humor from Two Point Hospital and found some creative ideas to rework the gameplay into running a university. It took a while to get all 3 stars for each map - including DLCs - but it was an enjoyable journey.

it's chill, it's funny, it's intuitive and addictive. It's also way easier than Two Point Hospital, which is good for me (as an idiot) but if you deal well with the stress and logistics and patient flow design of TPH, you might find this too easy. Not me, though. As stated, I'm dumb as hell.
