Rating: 7/10 TrackMania² Valley offers a refreshing change of pace in the TrackMania² series with its gorgeously detailed environments and tighter, more technical tracks. While it maintains the series' high-speed arcade racing, the focus on precision and the switch to a more realistic car physics model sets it apart. Though it introduces some exciting new features, it suffers from some issues that might deter casual players. What Works Well? 🏞️ Stunning Visuals and Landscapes Valley offers a breathtaking environment with lush forests, sweeping valleys, and towering mountains. The visual fidelity of the terrain and the day-night cycle create a rich atmosphere. The game is one of the most graphically impressive entries in the TrackMania series. 🚗 More Precise Driving Mechanics Unlike the drift-heavy gameplay of Canyon, Valley’s car handling is more about precision and control. The realistic physics make driving feel challenging, requiring a steadier hand to navigate the tight curves and jumps. It offers a more demanding experience for players who appreciate technical racing. 🛠️ Track Editor and Community Tracks As with other TrackMania games, Valley has a robust track editor and access to community-created tracks. This keeps the gameplay fresh as players can always find new, exciting challenges or create their own. This game is an absolute blast to play, even in 2024! I always felt like the new TM2020 lost a lot of its character when compared to the older versions, and the subscription access fee cut me right off. The visuals and music in Valley (and all the older environments) are gorgeous, and there's always loads to do with the official Nadeo campaign, StarTrack campaign, Turbo reloaded campaign, ManiaExchange map downloads, online servers, level editor, I could go on! Definitely give this a shot.

Fun, fast, challenging, easy to pick, tough to master, simple and efficient all around ! Great game ! And still to this day ! Aged like fine wine ! 2010's Trilogy: Stadium > Valley > Canyon. In my opinion

Bought this game after seeing Ross Scott's video about it one too many times, and I enjoy it. So far I've just been playing the campaign mode, though I want to try out some mods eventually. A few tracks have really strange layouts that can make the game tiring to play for long periods of time, but I like the consistency and relative calmness of this game. It gives me something to do for 20 minutes while I watch a video, and for that in particular Trackmania Valley is a nice game to have.

Well well would you be surprised, driving feels good in a game that was made specifically for you to drive in. The only problem I have with the game is the lack of clarity on some of the maps. Not really an issue on white-green-blue but on red and black I really struggle seeing where I need to go. More arrows would have been useful, also the offroad segments are hard to memorize because you have no reference to memorize the corners aside from "ah yes, BUSH" Other than that, it's 10/10, love the physics, love the sounds!
