Mothergunship proves sometimes less is more. Good roguelite fps, soundtrack is great, a lot of secrets that you will probably not find on purpose. The games dry humor in its "stories" is knee slap worthy sometimes. Gunplay is not exactly satisfying unless you get a really good mod/stats at some point in a run, most of it boils down to shooting and strafing until youre the only thing left in the room.

Have I never left a review for this game? Holy crap. I've spent 10 years with the soundtrack on my phone. This is a first-person bullet hell. It's very fast, and it was the testing game for a PC I built back in 2015. I... LOVE... this game. It's packed full of action, secrets, references to old stuff that only old guys and millennials understand, with an utterly irrelevant story stapled on for the sake of fun. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the game at full price, but if it goes on sale, grab it, sink a couple hours. The progression system is a fledgling version of upgrade systems that would become the basis of modern roguelike permadeath games, things like Dead Cells, Hades, Risk of Rain 2, and it keeps you wanting to come back. For me, most of it was the secret hunting. Like, you're *allowed* to break out of some maps on purpose. See what you can find. Also, the OST. Buy the OST. Trepidation was the background music of one of my 2015 jobs configuring laptops. Few games manage what I would call a "perfect" OST, and this is one of them.

Tower of guns is a Roguelike fps with voxel graphics and decent handling. I personally don’t like how some of the guns feel but the upgrades and movement feels like and old school arena shooter. I like it short bursts but the menus are a little clunky and favor a controller.

Quite fun and smooth game. I encounter couple glitches where I couldn't move. But no big deal. I did not even unlock the 5% of all weapons/badges yet and I am having a blast.
