9/10 This game looks cute but its gameplay is not that cute. It is a challenging Japanese style roguelike RPG inspired by Shiren. It features a voluminous main story and plenty of side stories. The story part is in visual novel style and every characters are fully voiced by amazing voice actors. There are roughly two types of dungeon: the one you can bring items in and the other you are not able to bring items in. In total, this game contains 92 dungeons to embark including end dungeons with 99 floors and lunatic difficulty. And it has up to 19 playable characters including free unlocks and DLC to choose, each character has its distinguish abilities. As a roguelike, the tag may look pricy but considering its quality and features, it's definitely worth the money. Anyway, this TGWR or TODR is surprisingly fun to play, even though I'm not very familiar with the Touhou stuff, I simply can't stop playing it. I think this game potentially has infinite replay value and could be the main game for any roguelike aficionado. Highly recommended for the fans of Shiren the Wanderer series.

Probably one of the best mystery dungeon games I've ever played so far. Was first interested in playing this because I like Touhou and the art looked really nice. Gameplay can be really rough especially on boss fights, but after you get the hang of it, the game is extremely fun, especially with a lot of contents in the game not including the DLC dungeons. The equipments and crafting system gives a huge depth to the game and it's fun to see the touhou references in them. Story is surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting much at first, but everything is actually well-written and the characters are faithful to the original series. Overall this is a really fun and addicting game for me as someone who loves the Touhou franchise. For non-Touhou fans, if you want a fun and challenging (or a very punishing and unforgiving) mystery dungeon game, this is the game for you. Most importantly, never turn your brain into auto-pilot when playing this.

This game is like an abusive relationship, it beats you down over and over again but the good parts (everything) are just so good that it makes the constant abuse worth it. But seriously Genso Wanderer Reloaded is easily one of the best Touhou fan-games made by Touhou fans for Touhou fans. From the in depth crafting system and weapon/armor evolutions the level of depth this game has is unreal and makes it so easy to sink hundreds of hours into this game. While the game can be unforgiving and really difficult, learning how to use all the tools you have at your disposal and using that to overcome the challenges the game throws at you feels rewarding in ways that most games could never hope to reach. I love all the Genso Wanderer games, but Reloaded is with out a doubt the best of the three. If you can only play one or a fan of Touhou at all i highly implore you to play Genso Wanderer Reloaded. ᗜˬᗜ

Alright I already got all achivements so it's time to review this game. Fun Roguelike Mystery Dungeon game which reset to level 1 every time you win or lose in dungeon, have a lot of similarities with Shiren the Wanderer game. After 300 hours My positive thought about this game: + Dying only lose money and you keep the items you find during the dungeon + Every Playable and Partner has their own skills and spellcards (equivalent to arrow in some mystery dungeon game) + Lot of playable + Lot of dungeons and some of them have their own gimmick + Personally love the artstyle, sprite design, voice acting and equipment design (equipment can evolve) + Story is alright but like some of character interaction Neutral thought: - Leveling equipment is very time consuming - Possible to save scumming Negative Thought: - some bosses are unfair and they can kill you in few turns, unless you cheese - Some late game mobs are brutal, like mob that can damage you from anywhere and even spammable if they get buff from certain mob - Similar with other mystery dungeon game, end game dungeon are brutal and luck based, especially the dungeon with lunatic difficulty - Did I mention this game has a lot of playable and partner..............? You will unlock partner through the story but you can't make them playable unless..... you buy their DLC. Also some DLC have broken playable like spamming auto revive (Daiyousei) or ignore ground hazard/trap (Tojiko) so I recommend buy their DLC (But I also suggest buy Sakuya DLC before that for more story content) - No mechanic that retrieve your equipment if it lost or destroyed and there is enemy that can disarm and throw your equipped gears - No see around mechanic So is this game recommended? If you like Roguelike Mystery Dungeon then yes, plus if you also like touhou. But I suggest to buy it at sale

im like 2 hours in and i still have zero idea of how to play the game, but the visual novel segments are extremely funny because of how insanely short every character is so i would recommend this game to everyone
