Toree 2 is a 3D platformer created by solo developer Siactro released in 2021. It’s short, inexpensive, a little weird, and genuinely fun. You play a little yellow bird named Toree doing your usual little bird things, like sprinting as fast as you can through active volcanoes collecting yellow stars. The game has 9 levels, the first eight of which can be played in any order to unlock the final, 9th level. You dash through linear platformer levels, jumping over pits, avoiding enemies, and hitting boosts to speed you along the track. The game is modeled after the 3D platformers of the 90s with very polygonal designs, and features snappy uptempo pop and electronic music by the Red Panda. Toree herself has cute voice lines and barks, and is voiced by American VTuber Syiona. The levels are very bright and colorful, though later levels take a turn towards the weird and creepy. The game sells for 0.99 USD. You can finish every level and see credits roll in about half an hour, but that’s not really the point. In order to 100% you would need to collect all the gold stars on every level, and get an S-Ranked time (these do not need to be done simultaneously.) Only then could you declare yourself a true Toree 2 master. It’s meant to be replayed over and over until perfected, and it’s a smooth and enjoyable enough game that it doesn’t become repetitive or boring to do so. Toree 2 is a solid 3D plataformer game It's a nice continuation of the first game with some new things, It's a nice and solid 3D platformer game. It's worth it, a very fun game Content: Nice and short levels, as solid as the first one. 3 bonus levels with different objectives Stars as collectables. CDs as collectables. 1 new character, total of 3 characters to be unlocked A boss fight Ice cream no achievements, but that's alright mechanics: walk, run, jump, double jump, camera control, more objects to give Toree a speed boost Overall: If you enjoyed the first Toree or enjoy some nice and casual 3D platformer game, then I recommend this.

Short but a speedrunner like the last one but i like this one a little better, it feels a bit more complete and seems to have a proper end to the feud with glitchy which is cute compared to the "cute but somewhat horror" original. Generally the dev just seems good at making smaller titles that feel fun to play in a session or two, maybe even something to come back to sometimes and myabe that's for the best.

A game for 3d platformer lovers that just want a quick fix. Nothing too crazy, just well-made and inexpensive to boot. My only real complaint is that there is a sprint button, which is really a "go faster" button because it affects you in the air/jumping as well. Basically means you will be arbitrarily holding an extra button 99.9% of your playtime which is maybe annoying/potentially painful. It should have been reversed and been a "go slow" button like in Lunistice.

Cute game, cute visuals, cute music. A fun little experience. I do have to say I very much dislike the controls. Using the same finger for running and jumping is very awkward. This also limits your ability to adjust the camera in intense moments. This leaves you with the trigger to straighten the camera, which you need to spam just to keep the camera looking at where you're going. Which is very quickly. I personally would love to see the trigger as your sprint input. Some additional control options and this would be a perfect little game.
