Every time "Tomato Way" was on screen, it felt like stepping into some kind of whimsical daydream where every pixel burst with charm. Since the very first moment when I started my adventure as a little tomato, I was plunged into this vibrant world full of quirky characters and imaginative landscapes. Such a mix of humor and heart took my face to bright light by way of a constant smile, while leading me through delightful challenges with just the right mix of fun and frustration. The gameplay flowed so well and was so appealing to me: jumping, dashing, and puzzle-solving all seemed effortless. Literally every encounter with enemies designed in this way had me thinking and laughing, especially when I found really clever power-ups that helped turn the tide of battle. Light-hearted yet challenging enough to keep me busy for hours. Visually, the pixel art struck a chord. The vibrant colors mixed with fanciful designs created an atmosphere almost akin to stepping into a colorful cartoon. Every new area was a feast to the eyes, beckoning me to conquer every nook and cranny. I lost myself in the details, appreciating how much love went into the crafting of this delightful universe. But what really got through was the narrative. The underlying tale of finding purpose and resilience throughout, amongst all the silliness, really struck a chord. I found myself cheering for my little tomato, investing in its journey in ways that took me by surprise. The writing was witty, the dialogue clever; it kept me chuckling while at the same time yanking on my heartstrings. And if you are like me and fell in love with "Tomato Way," well, you're going to like knowing there's a sequel. "Tomato Way 2" promises to build upon everything we've adored, adding new characters and challenges to deepen the experience. I really can't wait to jump back into this whimsical world and see how the story unfolds. All in all, "Tomato Way" was such a treat to play, and I really don't think I could have recommended it more. It's an adventure that will long continue to reside in your heart, even after putting down your controller. So, for one seeking a charming escape from their mundane and dreary reality, look absolutely no further than grabbing your controller and diving head-first into this wonder of a tomato!

Its safe to say this game is the closest thing one can experience to nirvana. This is one of the most well crafted pieces of media i have ever had the pleasure of coming across. my life was filled with sorrow, agony, and death before this game. This game didn't fix any of that but its still amazing. i truly don't think there's any game that will ever surpass tomato ways legacy. even though it was released in 2016 it deserves to win every proceeding game awards since then. there will never be another tomato way ever again in the millennia to come. 1/10
