This game was so fun I didn't even mind having to parry once in a while. I hate parrying. Other than that the combat here is really solid, there's a cool mechanic with "plague weapons" which are basically spells and then your own claws which do different damage than your sword. This makes it pretty fun to kill pretty much anything cause their health bar is like a minigame. Other than that, bless the devs for allowing free skill respecs anytime, this makes build exploration way easier which is a big part of these games for me. Totally recommend this one if you like souls

Decent game, not for everyone, you wont find a deep story, friendly characters or comfy gameplay, this is just you, your reflexes and the enemies. The parry system is what made me finish this game, you just have to be patient, learn the patterns of the enemies and then, CLONK! CLONK! CLONK! pure satisfaction, my best advice to have fun here is to become the parry king. Not a spectacular game in any aspect but a thumbs down would be unfair, have fun friendos.

A fun and short soulslike game where you play as a Plague Doctor. It’s a mix of Bloodborne and Sekiro. Like Sekiro, the parry mechanics are rewarding and satisfying. With high-speed movement due to having no stamina, the game encourages aggressive play. The theme is similar to Bloodborne, set in a historical period without werewolves or aliens. I had fun and encountered no problems. I recommend this game for fans of soulslike gameplay.

it's ok :) Finished all the levels and got all the endings. The level design is not great. The combat feels great, it has a bit of jank in terms of parries and the mikiri counter knockoff sometimes just not working. Most of the bosses and enemy encounters are good. Had it been any longer it would've been a chore to play, so it being rather short is a good thing. Overall it's a little rough but since it doesn't overstay its welcome I can recommend it. Hopefully the devs and designers learned from this and can iterate on this to create something truly special next time, I really do think they would be capable, and Thymesia does have some cool and unique mechanics to it. I look forward to it. :))) :)
