This game is not only a great resistance simulator but a lesson in history to boot. You live the Nazi era as it evolves, with real historical events. The game itself is immersive. You have to keep a balance between funds, members, moral and hazards. Choose your partners (5 at any time) and your actions. Some resistance acts need a series of actions beforehand, ie you need to blow up something but first need to acquire the explosive device, or need to distribute leaflets but first need to get paper clandestinely. You are also faced with certain situations from time to time, ie coming across 3 SA men beating a Jew, and you have to decide how to act and what to say. Actions change as history progresses. Got it on sale and it was a great investment.

A superbly crafted game that serves as storyteller, teacher, and concerned friend. The steady drip-drip-drip of Nazi horrors through newspaper headlines pierces me with cold reality again and again.

The redommendation is not for the gameplay - it's quite shallow, boring and somewhat frustrating. The story, however, is more important than ever, seeing how history seems to repeat itself...

It is a good game, with enough twists and plot turns to keep it interesting. It has also everything to do with making hard choices. And it confronts you with moral issues. It is easy to say thay you will stand up against injustice living in a free and save country, but what will you do when you're live will depend on it. That is what makes this game so interesting, it is not only fun to play, but the awareness that there where people 100 years ago who really did these things makes it very real.

This is not just a game, this is an art. Words can't describe how much I love this game. This is a simple game, yes. But what makes this game great is the narrative writing (some event will make you very emotional) and the historical fact that this game give. Also, I need to mention how amazing the art style is. You will spend a lot of time reading text in this game (quite similar to a visual novel). There's many dialogue options that you can choose when the narrative is playing or when some event occured, and your choice will affect the story (I made a really bad decision in my last game and i'm still regret it now). I saw several reviews that stated our choices will have no effect on important historical events. This is indeed true. For anything you did, the Nazi will still be in power until 1945. But I think people who protest this is missing the point. This is a historical game that wants to show the cruelty, terror, and wickedness that resulted from the regime at that time. This message would not have been delivered if, for example, our resistance group succeeded in overthrowing the Nazi in 1942. Also, knowing that you can't alter the big historical event is actually makes this game more thrilling, in my opinion. You know your group is very vulnerable and one fatal mistake will result in your characters being captured, or even killed. I really felt this worry, especially in the last chapter when the Gestapo appeared. As for the gameplay, well, its involve lots of clicking (and reading, like I said). There is no action thing like shooting or punching someone. So, if you only like action game and hate reading lots of text, you may not enjoy this game. But if you, for whatever reason, interested to learn history of WW II, I really recommend you to give this game a chance. To wrap things up, this is a really amazing historical game. Although, I must state that this game is not for everyone. I highly recommend this game to anyone that interested in history (or people who recently want to learn about history). And I think it would be great if a history teacher decided to play this game in class with students when the lesson was discussing about WWII. This is also a short game so you don't need to worry you going to waste lots of time. Just take your time, read the text carefully, and feel it. I bet you going to be very emotional for the victim and disgusted with the regime after you finish this game. Never forget the history. Or we will doomed to repeat it.
