Sept. 2024

This is a tough one to recommend and really just depends on what you want from a game. Overall, I do think this is good, but if you are looking for a game where you have to use logic and solve a mystery, then this isn't it. Really this is a fairly linear story-driven game, and as long as you search everything you can your character does all the sleuthing for you. I love games where you are the detective but so far this isn't it. I went in with a notepad and everything and was taking notes for the first half hour until I realized that it didn't matter. Between the in-game note taking and the main character doing the hard work, it was pretty straight forward. A good story, to be sure, but not particularly challenging. I will admit that I am past what one may call the prologue of the game, so I may continue it and update later.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It's essentially the 50's maid version of a detective game. The choices you make impact how the game plays out and there are several alternative endings. It was laid back - you don't feel rushed to make any decisions. There was always something new to uncover around each turn that played into the story development and enough interaction with other characters that it made it feel a little more personal and helped connect with the story. So if you're looking for basically a mellow-mystery, this would be a great game to check out!

Get thus game when it's on sale, not full price! I like this game but I wish there was more of it. I finished it in just over 3 hours, reading all the letters and notes in it. I liked the art style and premise but I wish there was more of it. I paid full price and feel it was extremely overpriced. Looking back I wish I would have waited for a sale. It is just too short and too simple for the 25 euros they ask now.

I would like more games like this, pleaseeeee. Not point and click mystery games, but straight up third-person POV mystery, puzzle games.

I absolutely adored everything about this game. It wasn't quite what I expected going into it, but only in ways that made it better in my opinion. Had an absolute blast playing this with my pals watching, we did lots of yelling and speculating. The characters have my heart and I'm excited to replay for an achievement hunt. I can't recommend it enough, I'm so glad this game exists.
