6/10 - Good recommendation Game starts off quite clunky but picks up better the more upgrades you get unlocking smoother movement and combat. Story wise is relatively simple and doesn't overstay it's welcome. Mueller 2nd fight is god awful - You have to lock in like a Dark Souls boss! Smiley was a bit annoying too but at least more fun! The truth reveal at the end... wow!

Absolutely fantastic game. Inspiring art, wonderful animation and a nice, linear progression that is carried by a story that picks up a lot of steam by the end. The platforming is overall very good with a nice flow state when you get used to it and the combat is satisfying and punchy. It ends on a cliffhanger and with a unexpected twist that hit some feels for me. Looking forward to a sequel for sure. And yeah the soundtrack is great.

This time I'll start my positive getting the only really negative thing out of my system to help players: If you don't like at all a sh***y ending that feels like a pointless timeloop that make all you have accomplished through the whole game useless while trying to be clever, don't play it, or well wait for an eventual sequel to play both. That said the game was awesome, because it gave me an experience that seemed unfindable, from one side what I would imagine for a real mainline Assassin's Creed game (prior to AC Origins that is) in pure 2D, that being 2D takes more advantage from lenght rather than height for parkour, the environment that creates a unique battle with normal enemies even with very limited kind of enemies, however with traps (a lot of them) reminiscing of the Prince of Persia, but all of this reimagined in a cyberpunk style with also obviously unique features and mechanics of its own. For what regards the bosses some of them might feel joyfully familiar for AC or POP fans for some of their patterns (even Mueller though it was the only boring boss of the game) . Except being like a wish come true for an Assassin's Creed mainline games fan in a 2D cyberpunk style, I really liked that I finally found a game with this kind of particular graphic that is used for a game where you can really fight, not just games where you can only run away from things, resolve enigmas or having a bad platforming experience for the whole or you're playing a graphic adventure game. So thank you for the wonderful and unexpected gameplay experience. P.s.: I'm proud of my only missing achievement in this game. I don't regret my choice.
