Sept. 2024

I played Thea 1 and I thought that was a fun game... then I was like, "hay, Thea 2 has multiplayer, let's try it with friends" and OH MY GOD! We've spent 130 hours in the game in the last 2 weeks and we all have full time jobs. The game is soo much fun!! Only not so fun thing is there are still several noticeable bugs, almost all of which are not game breaking and only mildly annoying.

This is the best! The core gameplay is very nice, it is fun to roam around the country with your bunch of merry dudebros. - Main character in this gameplay is the rat - Cannot hold a light wand or get on a horse, can equip a heavy suit of armor - Friends with a white bear - Bear cooks breakfast and makes sure everyone's religious needs are met - Go into a dating game - Anthropomorphic fishman joins party! - Fishman is so charismatic he makes out with all subsequent encountered bandits - Fishman and bear have a baby, it looks like a human but has high stats - The rat saves the world in the end This is the best game in known reality

Both great games, Thea 1 and Thea 2. Both are great in their own way. You cannot go wrong with either one. Thea is 4x, strategy, roguelike, survival, RPG, card battles, resource management - in a procedurally generated map. Lots of replay value, lots of customization options. It can be played as a hardcore ironman/permadeath campaign or it can be a walk in the park. Your choice. PS: I have over 500 hs playing Thea 2 and over 200 hs playing Thea 1. I find Thea 2 to be the superior game by a good margin. Part of the general criticism, I believe, comes from players who never gave Thea 2 a real shot. It needs time to learn and get used to the changes.

This game is awesome, I loved the first one too but this one is even better. Exploring the map, gathering resources, crafting items, helping the other races, and the random events keep things interesting. A pantheon of gods to serve each with their own boons and a scoring system to earn points to unlock new starting perks all add to the replay ability. If you are looking for something different and challenging but fun, check out this game!
