I played this game bc it was a recommendation as a cozy game similar to Wytchwood. The aesthetics are there and you do roam around the forest solving quests. However, I felt more stressed playing this game even on Wanderer (easy mode) bc of the “encroaching danger by nightfall” element. I like to explore freely and carelessly and here I had to constantly think about how much time I have left before I need to run to shelter. There also wasn’t enough interaction and character backstory for me to really care for what happens to them, even though I liked the story. I liked the idea of collecting Spritelings to help w quests, but it sometimes got annoying trying to keep them together while moving. Some things on the map are inaccessible until the story progresses and I wish that was indicated so I wouldn’t have wasted my time trying to move forward when the game purposely blocked me. I’d like to go back after completing the main story to gather all the collectibles, but collecting game currency to buy upgrades and items from the game’s shop got tedious and slow very fast. I wish the developers made it so that you gather faster and more over time. Overall, I would recommend this game, but I do wish it was cozier and there was more character progression, both story- and skill-wise.

What a wonderful gem! I thought it was going to be a nice 3 hour indie game, but it turned into a 17 hours fable that puts many AAA games to shame. Don't miss.

I've just finished the game and it's 2.30 am so would say it's quite addicting. The story is captivating and the characters are absolutely adorable. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun game that is not too complicated but still insanely entertaining.
