Not sure why the reviews on this are mixed! I have almost 1,000 hours in this game and I've never had a single issue with it and it's better than the first one in every way, with awesome story, new ways to play, and lots of new weapons. I hope they make another one! If you love having a variety of good weapons, hoarding, and filling up your player home with all your loot, this game is for you!

Okay. I have both S&S game's and here's my review. The game is slightly buggy, but nothing too bad. I did have to turn my graphic's down on the first introduction due to my frame's dropping. However i have had no problem's running the game with my 3060TI. The game isn't a whole new game. It's more like a over-priced DLC. It add's way more content and stuff to craft/build. It also has slightly better graphic's overall. You still play as the tourist though. Overall the game isn't bad if you have the right set-up to actually play it, however it's just like a DLC and isn't worth the full 30 i'd say. If it's on sale and you have played the last S&S C1 game, then yeah i certainly recommend this. It's not as bad as people say it is. Most people don't have a decent PC to run the game or they have clogged up their PC full and their PC has to many things to do at once. Just dont do that and you'll be fine. I'm using a OC3 (Oculus quest 3) RTX-3060TI, AMD Raedon 8x5800x processor, 32GB of DDR4 DRAM.

While not as good as the original and definitely buggy, it's a great addition and worth playing if you're a fan of chapter 1 :)

I loved the first chapter and so naturally I had to get the second. While it is a great experience I can't say that in it's current state it's worth getting without a sale. The game has bugs but I am writing this review and have gotten & played the game after it's patch so I did not encounter any true game breaking bugs but rather small nic picks such as tracked recipes being blank black squares or when I walk I sometimes stop making it difficult to navigate. They added some things from the first game such as a chainsaw, gloves so you can punch and attachments such as a suppressor and laser sights. Though in its current state I feel as the game lacks substance, the new maps have so many items that would've been interactable in the first game. For example Bourbon Street, one of the new maps, has ash trays, guitars, keyboards and you name it as objects on shelves and tables but you cannot interact with them. I loved interacting with almost everything in the first chapter; a good example being memorial lane in one of the houses where you can pick up almost an entire altar of goodies. Overall, the games good. I just wish there was more to it than what we got here but hopefully they'll add more as the updates roll out

Great game like the first. Only problem being that the game will spawn too many walker to the point of just being annoying. I get you meant to have to figure things out on the spot using flares and other things, but when there's 11 walkers blocking the only way you can go with no space to actually use a flare plus being pitch dark forcing me to have to replay, that's just bad game design. I had to replay one mission 3 times and another twice due to this. Other than that it's basically the same game just with a new story and a few new weapons and areas. I'd recommend if you liked the first one.
