Progression is funky, the beetle sucks. But it starts coming together after you beat the witch, and the NPCs can be charming & the dungeons are pretty nice. Pretty quick per run so it's worth a try, if you want to try it get it on sale.

Gorgeous little game. Love the art style. I didn't play long due to the rogue-like gameplay, but this game looks so much like the upcoming Plucky Squire and that game is a linear narrative adventure game, so I'm excited to be able to play that game more after getting bummed on my short time with this game.

With its captivating mix of dynamic combat and engaging quests, this game captivates from the very first moment. Immerse yourself in a vibrant world, where every decision counts and charming humor adds a special touch to this spellbinding epic.

if you're looking for a simple but very good looking roguelite, this is a very solid and fun game. The negative reviews are probably complaining about hardcore mechanics (completely reworked on later updates) or too high expectations for a game that aims to be nothing more than a short charming adventure. Go in with low expectations and you'll be surprised by how much fun you'll be having. Definitely recommend if you can buy for less then 10 bucks. So wishlist it and wait for a sale.

I honestly dont understand the Mixed reviews. I know at one point the mobile version had controller issues but this seems to run great on the Steam Deck for me. If you are looking for a colorful old school Zelda style game, give this one a shot.
