Well-made horror game, with a good plot and moments of suspense. I'm having fun playing it, even if I haven't finished it yet. The duration is short so don't base it on my playing time (I think in reality it lasts 5 hours). The price is adequate for the content even if you have to digest some defects: Several times I thought "maybe it's going to crash" "but does it work or is it loading...?" "I have to restart the game.. it seems like it won't start" well yes, it has loading difficulties even if after a while it unlocks by itself. The graphics are obviously a bit dated but you get used to it almost immediately. Overall I'm liking it and I don't see any big reasons not to recommend it. My rating 7/10.

---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent β˜‘ Bad ☐ Donβ€˜t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS -> The graphics are very janky and outdated. But the design is not bad. ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☐ Good ☐ It's just gameplay β˜‘ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't -> In the first half it's a classic survival horror where you collect items and solve small puzzles. The puzzles aren't hard, but they're okay. The second half you'll get weapons (2 melee weapons and a shotgun). The combat is VERY clunky and doesn't make so much sense I guess. It's just spamming left mouse and go back 1 metre every second so that the enemies don't hit you. It's not challenging at all and the combat animations are not good. I really prefer combat in horror games, but this is a game where adding combat was a bad idea I think. ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☐ Good β˜‘ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf -> Both the audio and the boice acting are okay. ---{ Audience }--- ☐ Kids ☐ Teens β˜‘ Adults ☐ Grandma ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☐ Check if you can run paint β˜‘ Potato ☐ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk β˜‘ Old Fashioned ☐ Workable ☐ Big ☐ Will eat 10% of your 1TB hard drive ☐ You will want an entire hard drive to hold it ☐ You will need to invest in a black hole to hold all the data ---{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' β˜‘ Easy ☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls -> Like I already said, first you just solve puzzles (2-3 times you run away from monsters) and in the rest you have clunky combat. ---{ Grind }--- β˜‘ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isn't necessary to progress ☐ Average grind level ☐ Too much grind ☐ You'll need a second life for grinding ---{ Story }--- ☐ No Story ☐ Some lore β˜‘ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovely ☐ It'll replace your life -> I liked the story. It was straight to the point and interesting. Eventough it was a bit too short and you could've added a bit more lore. ---{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee β˜‘ Short ☐ Average ☐ Long ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{ Price }--- ☐ It's free! ☐ Worth the price β˜‘ If it's on sale ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money -> I've bought it on sale for 3€. This price is more than fine for this game! But I think the normal 5,89€ are also okay-ish for this game. ---{ Bugs }--- ☐ Never heard of β˜‘ Minor bugs ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs -> Because of the jankyness there are a lot of smaller bugs. But they aren't gamebreaking or too annoying. ---{ ? / 10 }--- ☐ 1 ☐ 2 ☐ 3 ☐ 4 ☐ 5 β˜‘ 5,5 ☐ 6 ☐ 7 ☐ 8 ☐ 9 ☐ 10

If you like indie horror with a decent story, go for it This game is short and I liked the story of this game even though it has some animation glitches. The game contains multiple endings (Not disclosing how many and how were those) and I found the both endings quite good along with the story. Pros: 1. there are some good old puzzles 2. some old school like shotgun shooting feeling 3. very few jump scares but quite classic 4. a spooky atmosphere and level details in terms of an indie title Cons: 1. very short game, story could have been a bit longer 2. I did not like the door opening mechanism, it was kinda glitchy, not smooth 3. protagonist voice was OK but other voice actors were not up to the mark, kinda felt funny in some dialogues FINALLY MY VERDICT: RATING: 8.5/10 Review by BLADE

This game is an interesting but straightforward puzzle exploration game with horror aspects including fight, flight, or hide decision making. I was pleased with it overall, 7/10, but had a few slight annoyances that hindered it. The first being the inability to skip cut scenes and second creating/loading separate save states and having to replay the entire game for the separate ending. Despite that, and the somewhat jarring voice acting, it is a charming game and has very aesthetically pleasing environments, cinematography, and audio. I wish there was a sequel to find out what happens next.

The Story of Henry Bishop is a great short story that throws you in for a loop! An intense and unsettling environment with puzzles to solve and enemies to avoid! I had alot of fun with this game for its short story and events! You really fall into the plot of this story a bit and the terror you can feel in some of these moments! Worth a play for anyone looking for a short spooky game!
