Super chill game to relax and 100% on, especially if you need a little break from a heavier game that you're still working on :-) Played solely on Steam Deck at 90fps medium settings, you can most likely get away with high at a capped 45. Had some weird visual bugs with some textures such as the water and some lanterns. Overall nothing game-breaking and I highly recommend if you want a calm platformer to quickly 100% on.

Challenges: 🍄🍄🍄/5 Some parts were quite challenging but still enjoyable. It has 3 modes: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Graphics: 🍄🍄🍄/5 Pretty decent overall. Camera Panning/Adjustment: 🍄/5 The final map was extremely nauseating—I nearly got sick. Navigating when the Smurf was close to the wall was disorienting, making camera control very difficult. By the end, I didn't even bother with the polluted area due to the discomfort. Story: 🍄🍄🍄/5 It's the Smurfs, so the story naturally caters to a younger audience, but I still enjoyed it. If you're looking for a fast-paced game with cute characters and decent challenges to pass the time, it’s worth checking out. However, if you’re prone to motion sickness, be aware: there aren’t any settings to reduce motion blur or switch to windowed mode, which might cause some dizziness.

Surprisingly good 3D platformer/collectathon! I expected bad quality licensed game, but it's really well done imo, I had lots of fun!

It's a super chill game that's perfect to play when exhausted, burned out, don't want to think. Pick up you'd title and just go have some smurfin' fun already.

I feel pretty neutral on this one. If I were younger and less experienced with 3D platformers, it might work better for me. The game and camera feel very responsive and good but the gameplay is very linear. You can return to locations you've visited to collect stuff that you didn't have the powers to collect in the first pass, but that's about it. What separates a game like The Smurfs from it's competitors is that it lacks memorable bosses and interesting set pieces. The other problem is that most of the environment is the same forest biome. Factor in that the game is also linear and that leaves very little going for it other than it being serviceable and nailing most of the basics. I liked spraying the flowers with your hose which creates new winding paths through the sky. That was cool. But that's about the only memorable thing I'll take away from my experience. I encountered one nasty bug that has apparently not been addressed since launch, where you cannot actually use the intended bouncy pads to progress through the game, however I was able to barely jetpack past it as a workaround. I'll give The Smurfs the thumbs up seeing as there is no neutral option. I could have kept playing, but with 200+ games in my library to try out I can't find a reason why I'd be playing this further instead of something else.
