If you love detective games with unfolding stories this game is for you. I enjoyed every minute of it! I wish there could have been more, it is a pretty short game.

Really recommend this game [*] really nice art style! [*] great story (really liked the psychological journey)! [*] very nice music! [*] good length for such a game [*] secret room (free DLC) at the end of the game with dev commentary adds a lot of background information and is fun to play!

I've noticed comments describing everything that was happening throughout the story as weird, illogical, unrealistic, and even senseless. If that's exactly how you feel about it - good for you, I guess, looks like you're mentally stable enough :) John, however, is not. Somehow, I think you kind of need to personally relate to the main character of this game to fully understand it. Dissociative disorder can be a cruel thing, and I genuinely felt sympathy for John. The storytelling is truly remarkable. It's like stepping into the mind of someone dealing with mental health issues, and the way it's depicted makes you feel like you're right there with them, experiencing every emotion. It's a unique experience, and not many games have ever evoked such strong feelings in me. A wonderful tense psychological thriller. I can't believe that this gem has been sitting in my library unplayed for so long. Incredibly immersive, beautifully written, and, well... shattering .

a story of loss and delusions . the game manage to deliver such an interesting story line that became more interesting as the game goes on. the tragedy, the life, and the journey of John Evans up to the current point of the story. people could relate to his struggle emotionally and mentally and to all of his hardships and struggles. the visuals is stunning, but the motion sickness and brightness of the game for using white-leaning monochrome could potentially damage your eyesight so it wasn't advised to finish this in one sitting and i highly suggest you should take more time finishing it. which is really not a great advice since the game length could only run up to 3 hours and could be done in one sitting. aside to that, i do recommend the game, but i advised to wait for sale too as the game could be finished under 3 hours only
