The Search is a very good adventure game with a poetic story, some beautiful designs and a relaxing ambiant. For his low price, I recommend it!!! 💗

Thought I'd be painting, but it's just finding parts then throwing a brush at a canvas and getting some bits of philosophy thrown in. It would have been nice to see a painting develop little by little - it might have matched those 'words of wisdom'. Shortest game I've ever played, about an hour. I play offline so ignore Steam stats.

This is a point-and-click adventure game where you journey through several spiritual worlds that you've found yourself lost in. I think the correct way to enjoy the game is to take your time and enjoy the worldview and text. Most of the text is based on famous quotes from various philosophical books, including those by Carl Jung, so people who are familiar with such works may be able to enjoy the game to the fullest.

What holds this game together is a good voice over of the main character ( and the only character as such ^.^) reading everything and commenting. This is something essential for such image-driven puzzle stories. Could have been more animation in the game and clicking at the inventory icon in the left upper corner not really comfortable, should have been right click or adjusted in settings, other wise basic things taken care of from interface simplicity to window toggle and so on. The whole "story" is just an excuse to solve puzzles and click around, straight to the point without over exaggerating story in such a simple short game. Just a simple walk-puzzle, sold some of my cards got this one with discount = no complains :) Clicking around, thinking to myself ♥

A brief but nice narrative experience about art and self-realization with light puzzles and decent pre-baked graphics. The writing is not particularly polished or subtle (at times it sounds like a philosophy student trying to write an essay), but it has its heart in the right place, leading up to a positive, inclusive message. It also employs visuals to enhance the story, always in a simple yet clear and concise manner. Even the limited point-and-click navigation mechanic eventually gets incorporated into the narrative here, which is a really cool touch that highlights the game’s themes nicely.
