This was a decent game. Took me awhile to finally finish it but if anyone cares I'll list why down below. Anyway, the story is good, the controls can be wonky, and the climbing is worse than Assassin's Creed. Speaking of that game, The Saboteur is a mix of AC & GTA like most other reviews have said. This game has aged well, at least for now. I thought the black and white was an interesting touch but kinda got annoying after awhile. You only get color if you finish side/main missions to break free of oppression for an area. No game breaking bugs at least for me thankfully, but there were minor bugs such as enemies spawning on top of each other and a person I had to escort stopped moving for a time until I gave them a little push and that got them to move again. Speaking of enemies, they were endless and it was just a matter of spray and pray with no real skills. Of course this game had to be one of those you knew were getting to the end of it if the game is throwing elite soldiers at you that are health sponges and can kill you quickly. All in all, it was good mindless fun. The explosions were nifty. I recommend this, especially since it is so cheap. -COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC- While I was in the middle of this game, I was going through a gaming runt to where everything I was playing I lost interest in quickly (still kinda like that at the moment). While that was happening, my best friend of thirteen years passed away suddenly and without warning. For that I lost a piece of myself I'll never get back. Doesn't stop there though, I just recently found out that I am pregnant. One hell of a year so far. I know no one gives a crap about this but I do and I wanted to mark this down as this was the game I was playing while hell broke loose for me.

Ignore the date. The game is actually from the late 2000s It's a fun 3rd person action with some cover mechanics and breasts. Story wise it's kinda a pulp-y action game. There's villains and heroes and cheesy lines. There's climbing massive castles and shooting down airships and riding race cars. It's fun. A bit dated and old but fun. Imagine GTA (car jacking), assassin's Creed (climb anything parkour, stealth), return to Castle Wolfenstein (pulpy WW2 action) all had a baby. This is kinda that game

An underrated classic that deserves way more love than it gets. Cannot recommend enough for the price.

Before I say anything, it should be noted that this is a direct upload of the original 2009 CDROM, not a modern rerelease. SteamDB shows the depot listed on the Steam store as early as 2013, where it sat with essentially no changes until its sudden release in 2024 (Presumably due to licensing issues). It launches in 800x600 by default and can only be changed via an external program dedicated to graphical settings. Steam says that there’s no native controller support, but if you just manually enable it in the game’s properties, you’ll find everything correctly mapped with the corresponding UI changes, which is relief because the PC controls are just awful. With that out of the way, this is undoubtedly one of the most underrated seventh gen games of all time, and I believe the first game I ever got 100% completion on. So glad to see it finally get an official Steam release, and a very reasonably priced one at that. There are some minor audio-visual issues, but it runs pretty smoothly with the exception of a CTD every 10 hours or so; a bug I vaguely recall experiencing on the 360 version as well. With frequent saving, it’s a non-issue. I’m a little disappointed that there aren’t any achievements given that all of the console releases have them, but due to the apparent testing the day before release, I guess they just couldn’t get it to work. Doesn’t really matter, I got 100% anyway. I often see this game compared to GTA, but to offer an alternative perspective, this is a must have for fans of classic Assassin’s Creed.
