Very great game, I would love to see more story to it and different sized levels as well but overall, It's a good Chess like game.

If you like Chess you will definitely like this. Some of the names of the extra pieces in this are made up for this game, like war wagon, but many of these piece types exist in official chess variants that I have played. The War Wagon is a promoted Shogi rook for example. But many of these are completely unique to this game. I got a little bit addicted to this game because I play chess every day already and this is my style.

You might have thought it was shotgun king, you might have thought it was 4d chess, you might even have thought it was pawnbarian of all things, but no. Ouroboros King is chess 2. That being said, if you are expecting a fun roguelike, you will be disappointed. There might as well be no story, playtime for a run is very short, and there aren't really any bonuses carried from run to run. HOWEVER. You could say all those things about chess. Only play this game if you like chess. You may have noticed that i refunded the game, here's why: i can't play chess. If you are a chess player this game will be one of the best games you will have ever played. if you are not good at chess, you will not be good at Ouroboros King.
