Smooth combination of gameplay and narration of the myths. I've already admired bronze artifacts of Finno-ugric people years ago and wondered about their meaing, so finding this game and playing it was like a present to me.

True art is always grounded in something more than the creator's ego or his immediate surroundings. It draws its meaning and inspiration from nature, from folk lore, from intricacies of the past, from legends and half-truths, adding one more sting to the complex pattern of human creation. The Mooseman is true art.

Finished! A unique and relaxing game; I loved the aesthetic and themes! A couple sections had me checking a FAQ, though overall The Mooseman isn't very challenging. You'll need a bit of extra effort if you want to find all the artifacts though!

I feel like I am the biggest fan of the game, would be great to have more games just like this one. Would recommend to everyone I know. Really really enjoyed the visuals and the music and the story. Also I really like the simplicity of game play. It allowed me to just enjoy the stunning visuals and music, but it also has just enough action to make the game more exciting. Also love the learning part of it. It's just some small pieces of myths that make you more interested it the culture, instead of long boring texts. Really love the game, one of the best I've played yet

This game single handledly revived the long dormant obsession that once led me to study Finno-Ugric linguistics in uni. I did drop out and changed my life around a lot but the old love for these stories and languages is still very much there. Beautiful art, music and story here. I love that the savepoints are often enough that I don't lose half an hour of process but also far enough apart for it to feel well paced. Spent half an hour battling with the river god in confusion until I realised his light had glitched and disappeared, restarted game and everything was suddenly possible again, lol. And the spider was so beautifully stylized that I, a big arachnophobe, didn't blink an eye. Greetings from the distant Finno-Ugric cousin Estonia <3
