I would highly recommend getting this game on a sale. The base game is roughly 2 hours. There are so go back incentives but I dont have much interest in them. The game itself is a beautiful testament to hand drawn animation as well as great point and click puzzles. Puzzles are challenging but there is a hint system to supplement any frustration without having to pull up a website. I really did enjoy this game but the runtime in my opinion does not line up with the price point. Again catch this game on sale. I know you can beat the game within the steam refund window but dont do that, support the developers.

+ the smoothest animations ever + awesome old time cartoon visuals + fun, absurd plot + unconventional solutions to puzzles that fit the world + nice visual story telling + fun music + in-game book with hints (quite well hidden at times) + you can collect concept art once you're done - puzzles not always intuitive - quite short for the price (insane animations kinda make up for it) - clicking controls don't always feel accurate (trying to click something but it only works if you go a bit below the object) - when pausing the game, you might see an icon that look like an "i" on a piece of paper. those are not hints. those are the credits, making you lose the progress since the last checkpoint when clicking on that. some people experience bugs. those were the ones I noticed: - sometimes arrows show up, indicating that there's another area, when there actually isn't anything - two of the concept art papers were invisible for some reason. I could only find them by closely following a tutorial, where they weren't invisible.

It may not stand out as a click and point game but the vivid animation is top-notch, bringing so much fun and laughter to watch the journey of a cute and likeable character. No words are given but the story is very understandable. It is not unusual for a click and point game to not include any words, usually such a game contains several unrelated levels each serves as a small puzzle but The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo dare to involve mystery, scientific, time leap etc to a complete story. The puzzles are well developed just like its animation, I had no trouble solving anything by myself for the first half, the 2nd half was more challenging. My favorite is the head/leg work together to get the chest key, that trap door/moveable brick was a smart design, I had to watch a walkthrough to pass but it is logical, just hard to guess. luckily there are limited items to interact with and most puzzles are not torture. My complaint is glitches. I quit the game rightfully however when I got back, the save file was gone and I had to start from the very start. Then I decided to finish it in one run and upon finishing, I don't get any achievements including those in the game process. I'm not an achievements collector but I'd like to have what I've earned. If you exclude the extra time I spent into the game the actual gameplay should be around an hour, making The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo not a cheap game but doesn't change the fact it is fun to play. I have high expectations for the upcoming sequel. [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/WelcomeWhyNotGames] My curator page

Impressively surreal and imaginative use of hand-drawn and claymation animation that reminds of the surreal dark animation back in the 80s and 90s. Due to it being essentially an interactive movie where you can only click on one thing to continue the animation, there is some pixel hunting having to be done and some quality-of-life features like highlighting interact-able objects would go a long way, but the puzzles are particularly creative and cute. It's relatively short at just over an hour which makes sense with how painstakingly bespoke the animation and production is, and it ends on a very wholesome musical note.
