The game play is fluid, levels are relatively short and snappy, there are enjoyable fights and challenging boss encounters. The plot is more complex than I had expected. I have had no issues with the boss hit-boxes as some other comments mentioned, I am enjoying this game so far.

Simple but fun beat-em-up adventure game starring one of League of Legends' lesser known champions. You dont really need to know the lore for league of legends to play or understand the game, the story stands on its own. Gameplay and mechanics are simple but enjoyable and the pixel art is beautiful. Writers did more for Sylas's character than Riot Games ever will, and for that reason I found myself enjoying being a part of his story. Its pretty easy, IMHO. but it is very pretty and fun

Very good game as always since it's riot forge, its just that there's zero replayability to the game. probably buy this one on sale. P.S. dont buy the DLC, it's only useless cosmetics that you barely see in game.

As of July 20th 2024, Never touch LoL so I definitively didn't buy this one for the lore but I was not expecting this game to be so story driven (but it's good so it's ok). Overall good game, nothing exceptionnal about it but it will keep you busy for 9/10 hours depending if you do all the side quests or not. Can't remember of anything that really stands out either in a bad way or an good way. Price is a bit steep for such a game that has 0 replayabilty but that's your call.

The game is actually great, the pixel graphic is well made, the gameplay is mostly fluid, except for a pair of bugs in the map, you can select the difficulty and the game style that most adapts to you, and the story is just so engaging. You will explore and know the truth about the city of Demacia in its history; the game is not just about Sylas, it's about the true lore of the so considered "noble city of justice" in Runeterra. The game of course is not perfect, you don't keep much up with the part of Demacia's story about Kayle and Morgana for example, the last relics are too rushed to obtain, and the game might take a bit too little time to be finished. The title is still followed by good music and a great slightly intricate gameplay. This has nothing to do if not the story with League, you'll meet new characters, everyone of them with their little side story, and not everything is gonna be so banal, so I'd suggest the game to somebody who never played/doesn't like LOL too, if they can enjoy the genre. The side quests are not forced, and you actually don't have to do anything unecessary to complete the game, unless you wanna finish it on its 100% and max all the stats of the protagonist (the lil birds are adorable tho please collect them).
