what a beautiful game. i just finished it and i loved it so much

What a truly beautiful game. I've played through Episode 2 now and this was a great introduction to set the scene for the series. Characters and dialogue are well written, the music is enchanting and I love that there are connections to previous episodes. I'll certainly be playing the rest of them soon.

I don't remember when I got the first episode, but probably a year after reliese. I barely played through it cause I didn't understand it. Now, for the past week or so, I am playing through the whole game and my yaw is on the floor. This has quickly become one of my favorite indie games. The stories are so amazing and rich, the intertwinig throughout the episodes are mesmerizing. I am addicted to say the least.

"Eh, it's alright" out of 10 I really only loved the first free short episode and maybe the epilogue. The whole thing is pretty, sounds nice, pleasant and endearing enough, but it really desperately needs some better writing. Episode 2 and episode 3 are kinda dumb. Especially episode 3. Do not get me wrong, early 20th century sexism is an interesting topic, it's just a shame that it is explored with the subtlety of Velma show. No kidding, the ending to this is literally some poor attempt at Ace Attorney court shenanigans. With the cartoonish bad guy meltdown, "and then everybody clapped" and everything. In the moody self-serious historical period piece. Wut.
