I was tremendously suprised by how much I enjoyed this game! Its a simple concept but executed well! The gameplay was also longer than I expected and more fun than I anticipated! The most challenging part is making sure you have enough supplies so your passengers don't die! I loved the ways in which we get to fight, hide from or runaway from 'zombie' like enemies. Opening each door was suspenseful and unexpected and it is so much fun having to plot how best to traverse certain areas or decide what is or isn't worth it. Not to mention the ways in which using your mouse and keyboard are integrated so well! I've not played a game that gets this part right and The Final Station does this REALLY well! When you mess up the game is also quite forgiving and moves you back to check points instead of forcing you to redo everything. This was DEEPLY appreciated. My only issue was that near the end there were some 'surprises' that caught me off guard for worse and some narrative elements that I didn't quite vibe with. Otherwise this was a really fun and thrilling experience! Wish it was longer or had a better closure (for my own sake narratively), but all and all a brilliant RIDE! <3

The Final Station is an interesting take on the survival horror genre. You've got the standard food, medicine, and ammunition rationing. The zombies. You're also maintaining a train, picking up survivors (sometimes choosing who you can save and who you cannot) , and being drip-fed a post-apocalyptic story with a good deal of background as the game unfolds. Don't hyper-stress about the survival factor and don't expect to come out the other side with all the answers and you'll enjoy ~five hours of 2D zombie survival some real WTF moments.

I went into this expecting a pretty standard zombie plot, but the setting and story were much more interesting and out-there than I initially expected and I was pleasantly surprised. I actually might play it again just to try and absorb more of the plot details. Gameplay is simple but gets the job done, and is balanced enough to reward strategy and feel challenging without making it too difficult to progress. For a few hours of your time, you could do a lot worse.

This is a hidden gem on steam. The story is very intriguing and I can't say much how it unfolds in the end. It's simple and short but overall worth for it's price. The DLC is worth playing too.

The soundtrack, too, resonates with the loneliness of command, a burden Starscream knows all too well. Survival on the Rails Managing the train and the pitiful humans aboard is akin to leading a battalion through enemy territory. Resources are scarce, decisions are crucial, and every stop is a calculated risk. It’s a strategic challenge worthy of a Decepticon commander, testing your ability to lead under pressure. A Story of Subtlety The story unfolds in fragments, much like the intelligence reports gathered from across the galaxy. As Starscream, I appreciate a tale that requires intellect to piece together, revealing the grim reality of a world succumbing to darkness. It’s a narrative that demands attention and rewards the perceptive. Final Thoughts The Final Station isn’t just about surviving the apocalypse—it’s about leading with cunning and resolve, much like Starscream himself. It’s about the journey, the cold calculations, and the fleeting alliances made along the way. If you seek a game that challenges both your strategy and your resolve, this one’s worth the ride. Starscream gives it a commanding 8/10. All hail Starscream!
